Sakamoto Days anime adaptation is not something that many fans were expecting it to be. Considering the manga’s creative action panels and quirky humor, the underwhelming animation quality has disappointed them. After facing backlash, Sakamoto Days is now being compared to a Chinese anime with fluid CGI and stunning action choreography.

It looks like China is eyeing an anime takeover with the release of Super Cube, which has really shaken things up with its action-packed storytelling and global appeal. This Chinese anime has also grabbed the attention of a flurry of Sakamoto Days fans, who have drawn parallels between the two anime shows.
Super Cube’s superior animation and visual designs surpass that of Sakamoto Days
There is no denying that Chinese animation studios have made significant improvements in terms of production quality in recent years, and Super Cube is proof of this.

Time is a tricky thing. As it passes, things change, and sometimes what that means is that a piece of pop culture doesn't hold up quite as well as one might hope. According to one of the original stars of Hart Hansen's hit procedural series "Bones," some elements of the show haven't really held up over the years.
The comments came on the rewatch podcast "Boneheads," hosted by Carla Gallo (who played Jeffersonian intern Daisy Wick in "Bones") and Emily Deschanel (who played the lead role of author and forensic anthropologist Temperance "Bones" Brennan). On an episode that released back in September 2024, Deschanel said that she has some misgivings rewatching the show. "I would say it makes you reflect on how it was a different time," Deschanel mused. "There were some not-cool representations and some stereotypes, things to apologize for. But otherwise it is a total trip down memory lane.

Few shows in the history of television can claim to be as successful as "NCIS." The show itself was a spin-off of sorts from "Jag," but has gone on to become a monster in its own right. The flagship series has lasted over 20 seasons, but has also launched several very successful spin-offs and become a broadcast TV juggernaut. When something like this lasts so long, actors tend to come and go. Such was the case with Jennifer Esposito, who had a relatively small but beloved part to play in the show's history.
Esposito entered "NCIS" season 14 as Alex Quinn and stayed for just one season. Come time for season 15, the actress had moved onto other projects and CBS was pressing on without her. So, why did Esposito leave "NCIS," exactly? At the time, there was speculation that it had to do with her health.

David Boreanaz just ignited a Buffy the Vampire Slayer debate on Instagram, adding more excitement around the anticipated sequel series. With a pilot order nearing at Hulu, fans of the series are excited about the possibility of another chapter in the Buffy universe. Adding fuel to that fire is Boreanaz's recent comment on Sarah Michelle Gellar's Instagram. In a post, Gellar shared two pictures from Paris, where she is sitting and posing, wearing a black leather jacket. Boreanaz, referencing Buffy's vampire love interests, took to the comments and asked
"Is that Angel's jacket or Spike's?"
The question triggered a slew of comments. While some hoped it was Angel's, and others rooted for the romance between Buffy and Spike, others suggested it was Buffy's own jacket– a theory we're happy to endorse. The comments were a testament to Buffy's enduring legacy and the show's committed fanbase.

The criminal procedural series Bones follows an unlikely duo comprised of a surly FBI agent and a whip-smart Forensic Anthropologist. Special Agent Seeley Booth and Dr. Temperance Brennan take on some of the most bizarre and complex cases to be depicted on television. With Brennan and her team of specialists, they can solve cases where bodies are little more than the bones of the victim.

Hart Hanson's procedural series "Bones" was never a runaway hit for Fox, but thanks to its devoted fan base it had a high Nielsen ratings floor, which made it one of the network's most reliable shows over its 12-year run. Viewers dug its out-there plotlines and, of course, the will-they-or-won't-they chemistry between forensic genius Temperance "Bones" Brennan (Emily Deschanel) and FBI Agent Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz) -- something that spilled over to the supporting players, who struck up romantic sparks of their own (most notably between Michelle Conlin's Angela Montenegro and T.J. Thyne's Jack Hodgins).
Indeed, "Bones" had a deep bench of supporting characters who were immensely appealing, so it's kind of surprising that Hanson and Fox never managed to generate a spinoff series for one or more of them. Surely, they could've taken a chance on one of the series' squinterns? Okay, there was "Bones: Skeleton Crew...

Bones dominated the airwaves for over a decade with a sizable 12-season run. Throughout those 12 seasons, Special Agent Seeley Booth, Dr. Temperance Brennan, and the Jeffersonian team investigate some of the most gruesome crimes to be depicted on television. Since Dr. Brennan specializes in forensic anthropology, she is called out to crime scenes of bodies that are in an advanced state of decay. With this specialty in mind, the writers of Bones constructed some of the most shocking crime scenes imaginable for the series.
With creatively terrifying crime scenes come killers in the same vein. Bones has produced some of the scariest murderers in procedural crime television. Whether they only appear for one episode or become a long-term antagonist, these killers left a mental scar on Bones and its viewers.

The ending of "Bones" in 2017 wrapped up a highly successful 12-season run that balanced relationship drama, comedy, and grim procedural plot arcs in a way few other shows have managed to do. After years of investigating some of the worst crimes in fiction, the Fox show's personable cast of characters walked into the sunset with full intention to keep up the good work, which is why fans have been clamoring for Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz) and Temperance Brennan (Emily Deschanel) to return for "Bones" season 13 since the show ended. They're not the only ones, either. Both Deschanel and Boreanaz are open to a "Bones" return, and the latter even has the perfect pitch for a "Bones" revival (should the opportunity arise).

Jordan will also produce via his production banner Outlier Society alongside Elizabeth Raposo. The film will be released exclusively in theaters.

Masashi Kishimoto wrote some of the finest villains in Naruto. They are deeply flawed and complex in terms of their motives and backstories. From Pain to Sasori, the series gave us well-written and layered antagonists that embodied a menacing personality.
However, Kaguya Otsutsuki is an exception to that, especially with how she was introduced. Her being overpowered is one of the criticisms that is often thrown around like confetti. Fans, however, may have been too quick in their judgment of her character’s origins.

More often than not, people tend to overlook Kishimoto’s brilliance, and they might have done the same in this case. Fans may have ignored the foreshadowing aspect of the series, which makes the character’s path more coherent.

From Jiraiya to Tsunade, most characters in Naruto draw inspiration from Japanese folklore.

ABC's recent police procedural High Potential captivated audiences immediately. Police procedurals were a dime a dozen in the early 2000s, but the thing to set this one apart from its contemporaries was the fact the titular Adrian Monk (Tony Shalhoub) dealt with obsessive-compulsive disorder. This fueled his 312 phobias, which occasionally got in the way of him solving cases, but they also allowed him to view the world in a unique way that would help him solve various crimes.
"Monk" ended in 2009, but fans got one last fix thanks to 2023's made-for-Peacock movie, "Mr. Monk's Last Case," which /Film called "an overdue reunion" with much of the central cast reprising their roles. But it's not like the cast was kept in stasis for 13 years between the show's ending and the reunion. Many of them went on to other things, filling out their filmographies with myriad other projects.

The NCIS Season 22, Episode 13 cast had a surprising revelation.
Fletcher Voss returned for the February 24 episode, bringing the billionaire back for more drama.
The new episode was called Bad Blood.
It focused on the murder of a Navy lieutenant who had tried to subdue a drugged-out man at a mobile blood bank.
Through their investigation, the NCIS team discovered that the man had destroyed many blood donations to cover up stealing a specific one.
Superscientist Kasie Hines determined the missing sample was from Lauren Hawthorn. And she was tracked back to a familiar person: Fletcher Voss.
Who was Fletcher Voss on NCIS?
During the 1,000th NCISverse episode, Director Leon Vance was shot, and several explosions were set off in Washington, D.C.
Fletcher Voss was inadvertently wrapped up in that case. He was the man who created Bandium (the program NCIS agents used to alert and chat with one another).

When it first aired in 2000, "Six Feet Under" was unknowingly part of the dawn of a golden age of television. Alongside early-aughts HBO hits like "The Wire" and "The Sopranos," the tragicomedy told the story of a family-run funeral home trying to make sense of life and death in the wake of the sudden loss of their father.
A revival has reportedly been in the works for some time, despite the fact that it would seemingly be in conflict with what is arguably the greatest series finale of a TV show ever. Still, the mere idea of a return to these loveable, complicated, and tragic characters makes us wonder what happened to the cast of "Six Feet Under?"

For 12 seasons, "Bones" was a solid competitor for the title of the most enticing forensic procedural out there -- which is saying something, considering how many shows are vying for the title. Emily Deschanel's Dr. Temperance "Bones" Brennan, David Boreanaz's FBI Special Agent Seeley Booth, and their respective colleagues that grew into something resembling a family managed to simultaneously tug viewers' heartstrings while delivering the drama and thrills audiences expect from a crime-solving drama.
All good things come to an end, though, and even "Bones" respected this old adage with its final season. The show that thrived on crimes and anthropology ultimately -- and extremely appropriately -- ended by taking a long, hard look at its core aspects and learning from them, delivering a finale for the ages. Let's take a closer look at the show's ending, and how its main characters fared throughout it all.

She's perhaps best-known for starring in the sitcom, New Girl, and she has a number of projects currently in the works. She's also had a successful career as a musician in the indie duo She & Him.

There’s some great news for Happy’s Place fans. NBC has decided the future of the series, and it comes with renewal news!
If you wait until a confirmed renewal before you invest in a show, I get it. So many shows are canceled abruptly, and it’s hard to give a series a chance. The problem is if you don’t watch it from the beginning, you’re part of the reason why a show is canceled! A lot of people do this, and it leads to shows getting unfairly canceled.
The good news for Happy’s Place fans is people showed up! NBC has given this show a second season.
Happy’s Place season 2 is officially happening
Deadline confirmed the renewal with some updates on the viewership. Like fellow freshman comedy series St. Denis Medical, people have quickly shown up in support of this comedy series. Happy’s Place has improved the 8 p.

Bones is a standout among crime shows. The series follows a forensic anthropologist who partners with an FBI agent to solve crimes that pose a unique challenge due to the state of the remains. Bones ran for 12 seasons and never took its foot off the gas once.
While it can be easy to group shows from the highly popular crime genre together, Bones undeniably sets itself apart. This series focuses more heavily on science that goes beyond surface-level forensics covered across the genre. The exploration of uncharted genre territory continues into multiple areas of Bones, including the film style and social interactions of the characters.

Chris Pine is planning to go Nowhere Fast with Fargo creator Noah Hawley. The movie star and FX's favorite television creator are teaming up for the latter's new crime thriller, a film about a small-town criminal in Texas who unwittingly kills the nephew of his boss. The movie is currently titled Nowhere Fast— as you may have guessed from the first line of this story — and sounds like exactly the sort of dark comedy of errors we've come to love and expect from Noah Hawley.
In a new, exclusive report from Variety, it was revealed that Pine would star in the film slated to be written and directed by Hawley, who is perhaps most well known for his work on Fargo, but also created the criminally under-appreciated Legion, as well as Hulu's forthcoming Alien franchise series, Alien: Earth. Though it lasted an impressive 12 seasons, the offbeat Fox procedural thriller "Bones" was never one of television's highest-rated shows. Created by Hart Hanson, the hour-long premiered in the fall of 2005 and didn't find its loyal fan base until it moved to Thursday nights at 8 Pm during its fourth season. By this point, the chemistry between Emily Deschanel's forensics genius Temperance Brennan and David Boreanaz's FBI agent Seeley Booth was crackling, while much of the supporting cast could be deployed in a variety of ways to keep the show from falling into a samey rut. Hanson, the writers, and the casting department had created an embarrassment of riches for "Bones," and thus it would remain until the series concluded its run in 2017.
Getting to the point of that fourth season required a good deal of imaginative plotting that kept viewers on their toes without betraying what they liked about the series and,...

The hour-long procedural has long been one of network television's go-to genres. When done effectively, they can last for decades and launch multiple spin-offs that make a gazillion dollars for creatives and suits alike. What's the secret to the crafting of a long-running procedural? In the case of the broadcast war horse known as "Law & Order," it's to hit on a unique narrative format (i.e. the criminal justice system viewed from the street and court levels), and hit big on every casting choice. For shows as unabashedly formulaic as CBS' "NCIS," it's good enough to hit big-ish on every casting choice, and get slotted into a favorable spot on the broadcast schedule.
Initially, Mark Harmon's Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs was the anchor of the series. The sun-kissed California hunk with sandy hair and blue eyes got his start on television as Dr. Robert Caldwell on "St. Elsewhere...

The police procedural Bones follows the socially awkward but ingenious forensic anthropologist Temperance Brennan (Emily Deschanel) and her team as they work with charismatic FBI agent Seely Booth (Davide Boreanaz) to solve crimes. Brennan and Booth initially clash, bickering about everything from procedure to philosophy. However, opposites attract, and their chemistry evolves into a romance.
While the majority of the show follows an episodic format, the program also features series and season-long arcs. These longer storylines tend to deal with Booth and Brennan's developing relationship, Brennan's complex family history, or cases involving multiple murders. Bones typically ends its season with some major milestone or emotional adventure that addresses one of these story arcs.

These days, many a beloved network series is being given the streaming age reboot treatment. Kelsey Grammer pulled off a full "Frasier" revival series which was, lamentably, neither disappointing nor remarkable. Meanwhile, NBC ordered a "Suits" spin-off, "Suits: LA" which will see the show that experienced a remarkable Netflix renaissance in recent years revitalized for a new generation. All of which has only heightened anticipation for a "Bones" reboot.
The Fox procedural, led by Emily Deschanel and David Boreanaz, ran for 12 seasons from 2005 to 2017, and maintained a devoted following throughout. With renewed interest in resurrecting series just like this, talk of a "Bones" reboot has increased, though such a thing would be complicated given Disney's 2019 acquisition of Fox. If a "Bones" revival does come to pass, however, it would at least give series creator Hart Hanson a chance to address one of the most frustratingly nonsensical aspects of the original series.

It’s no secret that Fox’s Boneswas and is the oddball of crime-fighting procedurals. The unexpectedly funny show dominated airwaves for twelve astounding years, and it’s still earning new fans. However, like any show, it had its moments. There are only so many new ideas, after all. While other procedurals are known for their grisly realism, Bones opted for a character-driven narrative. That’s not to say it’s a bad show; it’s a unique gem in its own league of American television. Still, like anything else, it eventually grew stale. Its second season earned an astounding 9.4 million average viewers per episode, yes. But the following season saw a small but considerable dip to 8.9 million viewers.
That’s around 600,000 lost viewers per episode. It’s not a world-shattering viewership dip, but no showrunner wants to see a ratings slump. Other procedurals may have responded by shaking up...

Part of the reason "Bones" lasted as long as it did was because of its unique blend of humor and drama. The show ran for 12 seasons, showcasing throughout an incongruous but somehow charming mix of humorous banter between its characters with some pretty horrific crime scenes and depraved serial killers. But while the humor and the horror were two separate elements, in a way the grotesque bodies on "Bones" were sort of part of the comedy.
Some of the fake corpses made for the show were beyond things you might see in an all-out horror film. There were fresh bodies on "Bones" that even went too far for the show's producers, and one particular body had Zack Addy actor Eric Millegan extra grossed out. These are just two examples from a show filled with some of the most absurdly detailed gore yet seen on a network show. There was even...

No two procedurals are created equal, but the beloved Fox series "Bones" is especially unique, focusing on just one specialty within forensic science. Unlike Dexter Morgan's blood-splatter analysis on "Dexter" or the more traditional forensic pathology of shows like "CSI," Dr. Temperance "Bones" Brennan (Emily Deschanel) and her team deal almost exclusively with, well, bones! Dr. Brennan is a forensic anthropologist at the fictional Jeffersonian Institute, based on the real-life Smithsonian in Washington, D.C., and she uses her skills at identifying information about bodies through their bones to help the FBI solve crimes. "Bones" is based on the Temperance Booth books by former real-life forensic pathologist Kathy Reichs, who infused her own personal knowledge into the books and therefore the series — but how accurate is the science, really?

Match #1: Bianca Belair & Naomi def. Nia Jax & Candice LeRae The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Bianca Belair took an incredible beating, but one counter proved to be enough to shift momentum. Nia Jax went for her signature Leg Drop on Belair, but she missed and hit Candice LeRae. The misfire allowed Naomi to tag in and hit a Bubba Bomb on The Poison Pixie to win the match.
My Score: 3 out of 5 Match #2: Jimmy Uso vs. Carmelo Hayes (No-Contest) The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Jimmy Uso and Carmelo Hayes battled in an instant thriller, but both men suffered a beatdown by the hands of Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga to force a No-Contest.
My Score: 2 out of 5 Match...

Solving crimes for the FBI using forensic anthropology and forensic archaeology, Bones is a crime drama that was very popular during its over-a-decade run. Over the course of 12 seasons, fans watched as Special Agent Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz) to Temperance "Bones" Brennan (Emily Deschanel) dove into case files revolving around human remains, solving the mysteries using nothing more than bones to learn what happened to the victims. While Bones is a great series to re-watch, there are others out there that include similar themes, characters, and narratives, including the exploration of their lives outside of work.
