While the Amazon Prime Video show ended in 2023, last fall it was announced that the streamer, Krasinski, and the show's producers were moving ahead with a film. And the movie is already in production in Dubai, according to Krasinski's Instagram post.
The image sees Krasinski as Ryan dressed in black while holding a rifle, standing with the city behind him. The actor wrote:

The first bone-chilling teaser-trailer for Netflix’s “The Monster of Florence” from Italian genre specialist Stefano Sollima has been unveiled. In an exclusive with Variety, the streamer has released the first footage from the hotly-anticipated serial killer series, about a string of sex-related murders that took place outside Florence from the late 1960s to the mid-1980s.
Sollima, known for the gritty TV hit “Gomorrah” and movies “Sicario: Day of the Soldado” and “Without Remorse,” spent more than a year researching the still unsolved case of “The Monster”, the moniker given to the alleged serial killer who committed eight double murders, preying on couples parked in cars in secluded places around Florence. “The Monster” always used the same weapon, a 22 caliber Beretta.
The cold case marks one of the longest investigations into the most brutal serial killings in Italian history.

Taylor Sheridan is a miniature industry unto himself. He wrote the Oscar hopefuls "Sicario," "Hell or High Water," and "Wind River," as well as the thrillers "Without Remorse" and "Those Who Wish Me Dead." On TV, Sheridan has been blasting barn doors off with "Yellowstone" and its multiple spinoffs, as well as shows like "Tulsa King," "Lioness," and "Landman." These are in addition to a modest acting career that put Sheridan on TV shows like "Walker, Texas Ranger," "Doctor Quinn, Medicine Woman," "Party of Five," "NYPD Blue," "Sons of Anarchy," and even "Star Trek: Enterprise." He also plays the supporting character of Travis Wheatley on "Yellowstone" and Charles on the prequel series "1883."
Sheridan has evolved into the modern torch-bearer for Western machismo, and he is often drawn into the dark hearts of manly men. He also seems to love crime stories, tales of criminals/lawmen, and conflicts that end with gunplay.

Although he is best known for creating the Jack Ryan character and series, Tom Clancy wrote several other espionage and military action novels centered around other characters in the “Ryanverse.” Among the most popular heroes that he came up with is John Kelly, a former Navy Seal that became a C.I.A. agent and went on several dangerous missions around the globe, eventually taking on the identity “Clark.” While Willem Dafoe first portrayed Clark in the Jack Ryan film The Hunt For Red October, Michael B. Jordan was cast as a new version of the character in the origin story Without Remorse, which Taylor Sheridan adapted from Clancy’s novel of the same name. While it is certainly one of the most ruthless revenge thrillers in years, Without Remorse makes more than a few key changes from the source material.

At this point, Paramount must be running out of space for any more titles from television show-making machine Taylor Sheridan. While "Yellowstone" might have drawn to a close, he still has the spin-offs lined up along with the likes of standalone titles, "Landman," "Lioness," "Tulsa King," and "Mayor of Kingstown" nicely ticking along as well. Of course, television isn't the only space Sheridan has occupied. Some of his best stories have been on the big screen instead of the small.
Before we even knew who John Dutton was and what it meant to be "taken to the train station," Taylor Sheridan was making a name for himself writing movies before really having a go at directing them. As with his television output, there have been some weak misses and some massive hits among the movies, and some you might be surprised he even played a part in helping create. Here's...

Season 2 of Paramount+'s Special Ops: Lioness concluded on December 8, 2024, reminding TV viewers how bonkers Taylor Sheridan's writing can become. The sprawling international spy thriller is loaded with one unpredictable twist and unforeseen turn after another, proving Sheridan to be the most skilled and in-demand TV scribe working today.

Ryan Coogler's upcoming horror film, which sees him reunite with longtime collaborator Michael B. Jordan, has just received a new release date.
Per Deadline, Sinners has moved from its original March 7 release date back to April 18, switching with Bong Joon-ho's sci-fi film, Mickey 17. Sinners' move to Easter weekend is reportedly due to it being shot on film and "the scarcity of labs to do the work" during post-production. The release date swap between the two films is ultimately a win-win, as Mickey 17 will now have more access to IMAX screens during its opening weekend, while Sinners can receive more time in post-production.

Michael B. Jordan's Rainbow Six movie has received an update from director Chad Stahelski after two years of development. The film, based on Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six novel, is set to star Jordan in the lead role as John Clark, reprising his role from Without Remorse. The story follows "Rainbow", a secret international counter-terrorist organization headed by Clark (Aka Rainbow Six), and the apocalyptic conspiracy they discover after handling multiple terrorist attacks.
During an interview with The Direct for John Wick's 10th anniversary, Stahelski explained that the development process for Rainbow Six has involved careful consideration and emphasized the need to get the film right, while simultaneously offering creative room to expand the narrative beyond the source material. He noted that there have been many positive ideas discussed, and significant work has been done. Check out Stahelski's comments below:

It has been a year since anything was mentioned about Michael B. Jordan’s adaptation of Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six, but the movie has finally been given a surprisingly positive update by director Chad Stahelski. The John Wick franchise veteran was originally announced to be directing a version of Clancy’s novel-turned-video game series, with Jordan reprising his role as John Kelly from the 2021 movie, Without Remorse. However, since then, there has been little movement on the movie, but Stahelski has now broken the silence.
Speaking with The Direct, Stahelski explained why the film is taking a while to get going, and it seems to be the same age-old story of taking the time needed to get things right. Stahelski said:
"Michael B. Jordan is one of my favorite cast members that I've had to develop or work with. He's a fantastic guy, tons of energy. I think he's got so much potential,...

Taylor Sheridan's Yellowstone has become a standout TV show. It has spawned a universe of its own, consisting of different stories set in the Dutton family's history. 1883 and 1923 both explored the origins of the family, while The Madison, 1944, and 6666 are all poised to explore other parts of the universe. Henry Cavill has joined the expansive list of stars for the live-action version of Voltron adapted by Amazon's MGM Studios, but a crucial detail around the production is yet to be confirmed. The movie will offer a refreshing take on the long-standing Japanese animated series under the same title, and will be directed by Rawson Marshall. Marshall's previous work for Warner Bros. The NCIS franchise started over three decades ago, finding great success as the original and with several spinoffs.

Meanwhile, a new spinoff, NCIS: Sydney, was happening in another part of the world for the first out-of-country NCIS spinoff in history.
The upcoming NCIS spinoff featuring Tony Dinozzo and Ziva David may also take place out of the US.
Originally, there were no plans for NCIS: Syndey to air on US television. But when the strikes shut down television production, CBS picked it up for the fall lineup.
Fans rejoiced at the news of an order for a second season of NCIS: Sydney, while we mourned the cancellation announcement for sister show NCIS: Hawai'i.

As Skydance wrapped up its merger deal with Paramount, the studio has also secured a global deal for a film package that includes Chris Pratt for the adaptation of Way of the Warrior Kid, which came out to $80-$85 million dollars. According to Deadline, that total made this the single biggest package deal out of the film market since Apple had attached onto Emancipation back in 2020. It was revealed just ahead of the Cannes market that Pratt was set to star in the project for director McG.
The film is written by screenwriter Will Staples, whose past credits include the Michael B. Jordan movie Without Remorse, and is adapted from the children’s novel by retired Navy Seal, Jocko Willink.
