Little Pitchers Have Big Fears

June Lockhart has always been a welcome presence anywhere. In this episode, however, she is wasted. For openers, the premise of the story is not particularly engaging. She plays an overprotective mother who is afraid to let her son do anything. Why should we care about this? Why does Samantha get involved? Doesn't she have enough on her plate, working out her "witch to mortal" marriage? June Lockhart was the wrong choice for this role. Her character is drab and unlikeable. She also seemed to be faking some kind of an accent. Not convincing. June was too pretty and too nice to play an unlikeable character. Young Marshall is played by Jimmy Mathers (Jerry's brother),, if that matters to anyone.
