After watching Sixteen Candles tonight and recognizing the dad was the TV Man from this, my favorite Bewitched episode , it brought up a what if question. What if this episode was written and produced during the Dick Sargent days but the script and actors other than Sargent were all the same? Would it still be my favorite? I would say no since there are only maybe 1 or 2 Dick Sargent episodes I would above Dick York's or even the ones where York's Darren was on a business trip. To give more credit to Dick York and not technically discredit Dick Sargent's efforts....I will just leave it at this. Dick York set and nailed the personality of Darren and no one could take that away! Since I am reviewing this episode, everybody pitched in around Darren with entertaining delivery., that includes you "TV Man". It is 2019 and yet you are still present to accept the praise! 10 of 10 stars !!

- GoofsTowards the end of the episode, Sam takes the bowl of popcorn in to let the ladies have some. Then, after the men raise all the money needed for the playground equipment, the popcorn is still on the card table. Sam goes into the kitchen to have her mother take the spell off the popcorn and the full bowl of popcorn is sitting on the kitchen table. Then it is mostly empty back on the card table, then full again in the kitchen.
