Trivia
Both this episode and Samantha's Old Salem Trip (1970) feature Samantha being sent back to Salem in the 1600's, not by her choice, and Darrin being accused of witchery and taken to court.

Goofs
As Samantha and Darrin are leaving the cabin after meeting John Alden, a grandfather clock can be seen in the background. The longcase clock wasn't invented until 1670--in England.

It's a tradition

I love the episode. It's unforgettable. The match featured in this episode was invented in the 1800's and changed the lifestyle of our ancestors.
