Episode 1 was a re-shoot of the pilot episode, using the original footage for flashback sequences. The re-shoot was necessary due to the time that passed between the filming of the pilot and the first series, particularly with episode 2 being set just a few minutes later. The setting was also switched from Birmingham to London.
