Florida Is Harassed

Fulton is a plumber who is working on the Findlay's furnace and is attracted to Florida.

A funny episode with a great performance by guest star Ron Glass as Fulton. Florida calls her husband Henry to come get her so she can get away from Fulton. After a while he starts to make her laugh and he shows her how to dance the Funky Chicken. Henry arrives at that moment, threatening to punch out Fulton who runs out of the house. Henry also is mad at Florida, she comes in the next day and tells Maude he did not come home that night. Maude, Vivian and Carol get into an argument about men and women's urges and Henry and Florida make up and leave them fighting.

Trivia
Both Ron Glass and Helen Martin would appear on the Spinoff series Good Times. Ron Glass appeared as different characters in Season Two's "Crosstown Buses Run All Day, Doodah, Doodah" and "The Encyclopedia Hustle". Helen Martin had a recurring role as Wanda.

Goofs
When Maude and Vivian are in the kitchen looking at the newspaper supermarket ads, Vivian says they will spend a dollar more in gasoline by going to a store in Dobb's Ferry rather than the store in Nyack. But Dobb's Ferry is much closer to where they live in Tuckahoe than Nyack. Also, going to Nyack from Tuckahoe would mean having to cross over into Rockland County from Westchester via the Tappan Zee Bridge (since then renamed the Mario Como Bridge).
