Very Good, Could Be Better

This ought to be what "Mission: Impossible" is all about. A couple (Murray Hamilton, Madelyn Rhue) plant a nuclear device in a major US city. Unless the FBI director and several Congressmen resign to be replaced by people of his choosing (never mind the electorate) the couple will blow up millions of people.

Jim and his people must defuse the bomb. But first, they've got to work out what city it's in!

And the clock is running out.

Another episode suggesting just how big the I:M force is.

Unfortunately, when Jim and Mimi get to a small diner, time seems to stop. Good story, good cast. Lots of sluggish parts. Too bad.

When Adele Cooper (Madlyn Rhue) is driving away in the delivery van from her house, Dr. Cooper's Cadillac convertible is seen parked in the street even though it is actually supposed to be at the service station with a bad radiator hose where he is being held hostage.
