I saw the film at Rhode Island Int'l film fest and thought it was well written. Good acting. Productions values lacking at times but the story itself was good enough to overcome the technical flaws.
I found the story to be unexpected; I'm glad I read no reviews before I went to see it. It was totally a different film from what the title implied.
It's clear there wasn't a lot of money for sets and lighting but they really didn't detract from the story.
I think the movie is worth watching and has a very serious message....which I won't give away here. You should go and see it just for the surprise ending. I didn't see it coming.

I saw this last night and it was awesome.
The acting was really wonderful.
The characters are well developed.
The story was quirky and funny.
A really great job by cast and crew.
Really well written, well thought out and just well done.
I can see why this project has been accepted to so many festivals.
And the above reviewer is right! There is a great twist at the end, unexpected, but fits perfectly, and makes a great short even better.
Just go see it!

The Pill is beautifully acted and surprising in content. I never saw the end coming, and the film had me entranced from the get-go.
Michelle Goetsch does a beautiful job as Rachel - her emotional confusion was palpable.
The Pill captures all the myriad feelings around a surprise pregnancy with a nice immediacy.
The writing is great, and the story leads to a great twist - it's very "Twilight Zone"esquire.
You should try to see this gem at one of it's many festival runs if you can!
