Pretty good episode. There are a couple of truly great scenes, though. The "Wilting Flower" scene is awesome. Great use of background music in that scene - including its abrupt stop at the reveal. So well written and played. Equally funny is the scene where Shawn and Gus play "Rock,Paper, Scissors" to determine who will comfort the crying Frank Whaley character. It's totally absurd and wonderful. Also, the one between Shawn and Gus and the ex-girlfriend (François!). It's so well-written and performed by the two leads. So good! There are also plenty of great throw-away asides, like when Lassiter asks Juliet "Do you not knock?" when she walks into his "office." Juliet: "There's no door!" Lassiter: "And!?" Juliet: "Sorry." It's so ridiculous but played straight. Brilliant! Frank Whaley is a great guest star in this episode.
