Arshad, who started his career in 1987 as an assistant director to Mahesh Bhatt in the movie ‘Kaash’, had choreographed the title song of ‘Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja’.

Actor Vishwajeet Soni is popular as Prem Chaudhary in the sitcom series Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain!. Soni, who was earlier a mimicry artiste, says the comedy show has given him a new identity in the entertainment industry.

Prem Chaudhary is a buddy of Vibhuti, one of the protagonists, essayed by Aasif Sheikh. Prem is an impersonator of popular screen villain Prem Chopra, is rich but is always involved in illegal activities such as gambling and smuggling. Despite this, he helps Vibhuti in his bad times, though Vibhuti's wife Anita (Nehha Pendse) resents him.

Mumbai, Nov 3 (Ians) Actor Vijay Raaz was arrested for allegedly molesting a crew member while shooting in Gondia, Maharashtra. Raaz has subsequently been granted bail.

"Some shoot was on, a crew member filed complaint for molestation and we registered it. It happened in Gondia. He was arrested yesterday and released on bail today," Atul Kulkarni, Additional Superintendent of Police, Gondia, Maharashtra, told Ians.

"The court has said he has to appear before the investigation officer whenever needed," Kulkarni added.

The set where the incident took place is of the Vidya Balan-starrer "Sherni".

Raaz is primarily popular for his comic roles, notably the marigold-chewing wedding planner Pk Dubey in Mira Nair's 2001 release, "Monsoon Wedding". His other hit performances have come in films such as "Run", "Dhamaal" and "Welcome".

Actor Anil Kapoor, a part of the Hindi film industry for almost four decades, says his mission is to explore more of what he can do and how to improve it. Anil has shown versatility in the myriad genres, like drama, action, romance, comedy and socio-drama. The film has netted a superb 60 crore plus, the best of 2019, during its opening weekend from India and has already surpassed the total net collection of (45 crore) of last Dhamaal series franchise and is on way to a hit status, if not more.

Is there any polite way of saying this? Total Dhamaal is the worst most undesirable brand of filmmaking obtainable to mankind. Crass, corny, lowbrow and utterly non-intellectualized, it boils down to watching a bizarre burlesque of line and situations borrowed from lowbrow Gujarati theatre.

This is the kind of comedy that attempts to make us laugh at the exploitative and cheesy treatment of the comic genre by a bunch of actors and technicians who ought to know better, if for no other reason, then only because they have had years of experience.

Apart from being multi-starrers, there is another common thread, which binds films like Masti, Housefull, Malamaal Weekly, Dhamaal and Apna Sapna Money Money together - actor Riteish Deshmukh.

Having started his career over 16 years ago with the standalone film Tujhe Meri Kasam, Riteish has mostly featured in multi-starrers. And he has no qualms about it.

"Why should I have any problem with that? For me, a good role and a good script matter the most," Riteish told Ians here.

"First of all when you do a multi-starrer film, one should know what part he/she is doing. If you are happy with it, you should go for it and give 100 per cent to it," he said. The 40-year-old feels people need to change their attitude towards multi-starrers. "It is not easy to make a multi-starrer film. The more the actors, more the responsibilities on the director. Proper coordination is needed between the actors while shooting.

Actor Anil Kapoor wants to star in cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar's biopic. When asked which sports star's biopic would he like to do, Anil replied, "Sachin Tendulkar... Studiocanal’s revenge thriller Cold Pursuit will aim to weather the storm of recent controversy around star Liam Neeson to challenge a selection of family titles at the UK box office this weekend.

In the film, Neeson plays a snowplough driver who seeks revenge against the drug dealers he believes killed his son. Hans Petter Moland directs, with the film based on his 2014 Norwegian title In Order Of Disappearance.

Neeson has fronted a string of box office hits in recent years, led by the Taken series. The first title started with £1.2m in September 2008, finishing on £6.4m.

Actor Anil Kapoor thinks a sequel to his hit Nayak: The Real Hero will make for a good film.

Asked which film of his deserves a sequel, Anil told Ians on the sidelines of the T20 Dhamaal shoot at the Star Sports studio: "I think a sequel to Nayak would be a good idea."?

A political action thriller, Nayak: The Real Hero is a remake of S. Shankar's successful Tamil film Mudhalvan. The 2001 film narrated the story of how a common man fights against the corrupt system, and how his life changes after he becomes a chief minster for a day. It features Rani Mukerji and the late Amrish Puri.

What's the most exciting aspect of being in the industry at the moment??

"The new wave of ideas and content. The unexplored territories and new challenges," Anil said.?

Actor Ajay Devgn says he will wrap up the shooting for his upcoming film Taanaji: The Unsung Warrior in May.

Asked about the scenario where filmmakers are making movies on historical figures apart from Mughal Emperors like Akbar and Jahangir, he said, "We have read about Taanaji Malusare when we were in?school and now, the time is changing, where people are exploring different stories and characters who were popular figures in the history."

"Now younger generation is aware that there are lots of historical figures on which we can make films apart from four or five historical figures," added Ajay, who will be seen playing the title role of Subedar Taanaji Malusare, a military leader in Shivaji's army.

Talking about the shooting of the film, he added, "By May this year, we will wrap up shooting of the film and it will be released in November."

Actor Riteish Deshmukh says it was a dream for him to work with actors Madhuri Dixit Nene and Anil Kapoor together.

The makers of Total Dhamaal released the first track from the film titled Paisa Yeh Paisa. The song is a recreation of Kishore Kumar’s chartbuster song from the ’80s Paisa Yeh Paisa from the film Karz, originally composed by Laxmikant-Pyarelal. The new version features the dynamic cast of Total Dhamaal which includes Ajay Devgn, Anil Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit Nene, Riteish Deshmukh and Arshad Warsi among others.

Paisa Yeh Paisa sees all the actors chasing money while they sing their praise for it. Set in a colourful, glamorous world of money, the song depicts Madhuri Dixit centre stage. The megastar Madhuri looks resplendent in shimmery gowns as she dances to the fun and peppy track. The vibrant dance number has been recreated by Gourov-Roshin, and sung by Dev Negi, Subhro Ganguly and Arpita Chakraborty.
