Something didn’t sit right with me about last night’s Office. Was it the near-absence of the “interviews”? Was it the mere two seconds of hearing Pam’s voice? The lack of hilarity between Michael and Dwight? Or is it simply that the throne of humor is moving on from the stars of seasons past to the likes of Andy, Erin, Kelly, and Meredith. Their stars shone brightest last night and saved the low points from the people we previously tuned in to see. Last night’s premise was that Sabre sent leads over to Michael to distribute to the sales staff.

Well here we are folks. Just one results show away from revealing the Top 12 finalists for Season 9 of "American Idol." It doesn't get much more exciting than this. Right? Or maybe it does?
Look, by no means do I want to be a buzz kill. I know the pressure of being on that stage and not always making the right choices. I feel like this season does have quite a few really talented and unique contestants, but at the same time I feel as though we have yet to see a lot of them reach their true potential.
I've been waiting on a night where I am blown away, and that night just hasn't come for me yet. There have been individual performances that have been absolutely terrific, from a Crystal Bowersox here or a Michael Lynche there. But the one thing I have to critique is how much this...

Sci Fi grabs 'Jericho' rerun rights
Sci Fi Channel has snapped up cable rerun rights to the post-apocalyptic drama Jericho from CBS Television Distribution.
The three-year agreement gives Sci Fi rights to the first and second seasons of the series, which includes an exclusive first run in basic cable for the first six months of the deal.
Jericho is set to make its Sci Fi debut with a four-episode marathon from 7-11 p.m. EST on Feb. 11, the day before the show's second-season premiere on CBS at 10 p.m. Jericho, which will be simulcast in high definition on Sci Fi HD, will begin airing in its regular Sci Fi time slot of 10 p.m. Mondays on Feb. 18.
Jericho stars Skeet Ulrich and revolves around the survivors of a nuclear attack in a Kansas town. It debuted in September 2006 to promising ratings but struggled upon its return to the schedule after a three-month hiatus when it had to face Fox's American Idol.
After CBS canceled the series, viewers launched a campaign to save it, including sending tens of thousands of pounds of nuts to top network executives, who decided to give the show a reprieve with a seven-episode second-season order.

Trifecta gives 'Idol Rewind' a sales boost
Trifecta Entertainment & Media has cleared the weekly syndicated series American Idol Rewind on the Fox Television Stations group, just three weeks after taking over distribution duties from Tribune Entertainment.
Trifecta has finalized seven new market clearances and six renewals for the hourlong series, from FremantleMedia North America, for fall. The new clearances include such major markets as New York (WNYW/ WWOR), Los Angeles (KTTV/ KCOP), Chicago (WFLD/ WPWR), Dallas (KDFW/ KDFI), Washington (WTTG/ WDCA), Houston (KRIV/ KTXH) and Tampa, Fla. (WTVT).
The other markets are Detroit (WJBK), Phoenix (KSAZ/KUTP), Minneapolis (KMSP/WFTC), Orlando (WOFL/WRBW), Baltimore (WUTB) and Gainesville, Fla. (WOGX).
The deal gives Idol an even bigger presence across Fox, where the hit singing competition American Idol, also from FMNA, has its seventh-season debut Tuesday. Rewind, entering its third season in syndication in the fall, is a tweaked version of the Fox show that includes never-before-seen content as well as updates and commentary from past contestants.
Trifecta took over distribution duties last month, following the news that Tribune was shutting down its distribution operations.
