The singer’s 50-minute segment, A Nonsense Christmas With Sabrina Carpenter, streaming as of the evening of Friday, Dec. 6 contained several familiar faces, both musically and in the comedy and acting worlds.

Sadly, there was no sign of Marcello Hernández’s Domingo, but Nico Hiraga played an impressive modern day Ebenezer “Ebby” Scrooge. Sabrina Carpenter’s “Nonsense Christmas” show arrived on Netflix on Friday. Highlighting her 2023 “Fruitcake” EP, the 49-minute show was chock-full of celebrity appearances, sketch comedy and a blend of her festive tunes and Christmas classics with Carpenter’s signature remixed lyrics.

Thirty years after In Living Color ended, Marlon Wayans is opening up about why his family walked away from the Fox show that launched them into fame.

During a recent interview on the Club Shay Shay podcast, the actor-writer-producer got candid about his family’s exit from the ’90s sketch comedy show, created by his brother Keenen Ivory Wayans, after its fourth season.

“I remember when we left In Living Color because Fox was syndicating the show and it was hurting Keenen’s pockets,” Marlon told host Shannon Sharpe. “Keenen was like, ‘Nah, you ain’t gonna do this to me.’ My family said, ‘Fuck this money.’ And we all left In Living Color.”

The show, which ran from 1990 to 1994, also featured Marlon’s other siblings, Damon Wayans, Kim Wayans and Shawn Wayans, and helped launch the careers of several other Hollywood notables including Jennifer Lopez, Jim Carrey and Jamie Foxx.

UnPrisoned Season 2 follows the chaos of Season 1 with more messy moments, set to some great needle drops. Finn (Faly Raktohavana), particularly, has a moment with music this season. It’s summertime, but don’t tell that to Mark Tremonti. The Alter Bridge and Creed guitarist has announced his first-ever holiday album, titled Christmas Classics New & Old.

The new release sees Tremonti singing and performing nine holiday classics and one original song. For the LP, Tremonti teamed up with the same orchestra that played on his recent Frank Sinatra covers album. Christmas Classics New & Old arrives October 27th, and is now available for pre-order here.

The movie - which features the star-studded cast of Jonah Hill, Lauren London, Eddie Murphy, and Julia Louis-Dreyfus - is about a young couple named Amira and Ezra who want to get married but are hoping to get their parents' approval first. Since they come from two very different backgrounds, that's easier said than done.

If you've already watched the film, you probably recognize London from movies like "Atl," "I Love You, Beth Cooper," "This Christmas," and, more recently, "Without Remorse." Her TV credits also include shows like "The Game," "Games People Play," and "True Story."

If January sets the tone for any streamer’s year then 2023 is certainly going to be the Year of True Crime on Hulu. That’s right, Hulu’s list of new releases for January 2023 is highlight by several new true crime docuseries (and one charmingly goofy animated hero).

The true crime docuseries fest gets started with Death in the Dorms on Jan. 5. That will be followed by How I Caught My Killer on Jan. 12, and Web of Death on Jan. 19. The first is a six-episode series that will follow the real life case of murders at UCLA, while the latter two will both present several different stories.

The Disney-owned streaming service is coming into 2023 with plenty of appealing choices, including the second season of “How I Met Your Father.”

Debuting back in January of 2022, “How I Met Your Father” is a spin-off series to the popular CBS sitcom, “How I Met Your Mother” that aired from 2005 to 2014. The show stars Hilary Duff as a young woman navigating the dating scene in the hopes of landing the man that will be the titular father of the show’s title. Season 2 consists of a whopping 20 episodes to air weekly on Hulu.

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! And with its list of new releases for December 2022, Hulu is planning accordingly.

Compared to its rival streaming services like Netflix, Prime Video, and HBO Max, Hulu is a bit more holiday forward in the final month of 2022. Sure, all the streaming services are bringing some Christmas content to the table, but Hulu is the only one to plant its flag in a special called It’s a Wonderful Binge. This comedic take on a psychedelic Purge-like Christmas is set to premiere on Dec. 8.

Elsewhere on Hulu this month, subscribers can look forward to the release of FX’s Kindred (Dec. 13). Based on a thrilling novel of the same name, this series follows a woman being violently yanked back and forth in time. In what’s increasingly become a tradition, Canadian comedy Letterkenny will premiere a new season the day after Christmas.

The Masked Singer season 8 finale airs on November 30, but the fun continues the following week for the "Seasonal Sing-a-Long Spectacular!" on December 7. The first Sing-a-Long aired during The Masked Singer season 3 in April 2020. It was not holiday-themed because it aired in the spring but instead featured encore performances from the contestants, including winner Kandi Burruss (Night Angel) and runner-up Jesse McCartney (Turtle), with sing-a-long lyrics at the bottom of the screen. The Masked Singer season 4 featured the first Holiday Sing-a-Long in December 2020, which included classic Christmas songs and encore performances sung by the contestants and panelist Ken Jeong. Some of the sing-a-longs aired before the finales and even offered new clues to the contestants' identities. The sing-a-longs continued until The Masked Singer season 7, which did not feature one.
