Tux and Fanny is a surreal little movie about two seemingly blob-like characters, the aforementioned Tux and Fanny. It is a mostly episodic, slice-of-life spectacle, which random things happening and the duo reacting to them, yet mindful of previous continuity, so recurring elements return when you least suspect them. This makes for an interesting viewing experience, where you don't know what quite to expect yet you know somehow.
The animation is mostly done 2 bit 2D, with sporadic use of either more complex rendering or stop motion animation. This lends for a general retro video game style of visuals occasionally interupted by something more complex, but even the 2 bit parts can be pretty complex at times.
A strong recommendation.
