Thought this was a Macgruber sequel for about 20 minutes in, but sadly it's not. The main character even looks a bit like Will Forte! Unfortunately, it's just a regular old movie -- no throat rips, no sex scenes on the tombstone with the ghost of your dead wife, and no distracting the enemy with a stalk of celery sticking out of your butt. I'm going to go watch Macgruber. I would suggest you do the same.
It's always a problem when the central characters are all blond women and men with half shaved faces. Are these different people or the same people at different times? Who knows? Who cares? Is this a film about an assassin, or corporate espionage,or a pair of lovers? Who knows? Who cares? Did someone get a discount on a guitar player to score the entire film? Who knows? Who cares?
The quality of the movie is good.
But there is no explanation for what is going on.
Too much cryptic dialogue with no back story to make it understandable.
Many long and unnecessary scenes, with meaningless dialogue that did not explain or add to the story line.
Movie should have just be a little over one hour.
Watchable but not deeply enjoyable.

2 hours of my life I will never get back. Started with about 12 people in the theater. At the end, there were 3. Slow, terrible.

Has all the production values of a bait and switch tv series pilot. First an engaging exciting airplane heist scene, after which practically nothing happens during the entire rest of the film. Almost 2 hours of overtly long drawn out scenes in which nothing of importance happens. Think about a bad slow tv drama and then double the slowness, it's unbelievable.
The music can be good at times and hides the fact that nothing of importance is happening, because the music conveys a sense of thrill. Take out the music and realize you're watching endless filler footage which simply does not matter. How this ever got distribution is a mystery, even Troma should've declined this borefest.

- TriviaQuestion: Did any of the actors playing fishermen have working experience on commercial fishing boats? Answer: Yes The father/son fisherman duo Doc and Tate (played by Mark Sehlbach and T. Ivan Winkler) both have decades of commercial fishing experience. They were both helpful to the production team to reflect an authentic fishing vessel environment during filming.
