Update Jan. 13 Pm: The last remaining Los Angeles-based scripted series whose production had been on pause in the wake of the devastating wildfires are set to resume production tomorrow, Jan. 14. That includes 20th Television’s Grey’s Anatomy, 9-1-1 and Doctor Odyssey, who all will film indoors. The only show that will remain dark is the studio’s All’s Fair, which has no interiors left to shoot.

Update Jan. 13 Am: All of 20th Television’s LA-based series, including Grey’s Anatomy, 9-1-1 and Doctor Odyssey, remain dark today, January 13, with the exception of multi-camera comedies Mid-Century Modern, which is in prep, and Shifting Gears, which will rehearse. They were among a number of scripted series filming in the Los Angeles area that suspended production last week as wildfires were raging through multiple neighborhoods, including Pacific Palisades and Altadena.

The Los Angeles area has recently been impacted by dangerous wildfires, considered one the most destructive in the city’s history. Due to the fires, various television series have had their productions halted. Notably, both scripted and unscripted shows have been impacted by the shutdown.

Various Companies Closed Production On Wednesday

The recent wildfires erupted this past Tuesday, impacting the Los Angeles area. Thousands of buildings have been damaged or destroyed. In addition, thousands have been called to evacuate, with at least five people dying from the fire.

Los Angeles is known as the entertainment capital of the world, with a prominent history in film and television. The natural disaster has since greatly impacted production on various television series.

Paramount+ with Showtime today unveiled a teaser trailer for the third season of the Showtime original Emmy-nominated series Yellowjackets at Ccxp. The two-episode season premiere drops Friday, February 14 on streaming and on demand for Paramount+ subscribers with the Paramount+ with Showtime plan before its on-air debut on Sunday, February 16.

The teaser debuted at today’s Paramount+ panel at Ccxp in São Paolo, Brazil, which featured cast members Sophie Nélisse (Shauna), Sophie Thatcher (Natalie), Jasmin Savoy Brown (Taissa), Courtney Eaton (Lottie) and Kevin Alves (Travis).

Fox is booking a return trip to Duncanville. The animated comedy, co-created by and starring Amy Poehler, has been picked up for Season 2, TVLine has learned.

Duncanville marks the second freshman comedy to be renewed at the broadcast network, following fellow animated rookie Bless the Harts, which secured a Season 2 order back in October.
