It Was Funny And Could Have Been Funnier

Flatmates

Watched the lot!

Overly contrived tick box millennial comedy about practically nothing. The three main leads really threw themselves into this and after a slow start by episode 3 they had endeared themselves to us.

Theo Stevenson really showed some excellent comic timing and was really very funny, this young man has a bright future methinks. The other two leads were good but they weren't given the comic lines to really showcase their comic talents.

This was very light and silly but perhaps that is a really great compliment in these anxious times. It morphed into a bizarre teen angst romcom that just made you squirm at times but I enjoyed it lol

There really was nothing new here and if I was to compare it to anything it would be Friends, but a British version of Friends would not be a bad thing.

I look forward to series 2 where they can develop more detailed and adventurous story lines like Josh does in his sitcom

Wrong focus. The female actors are much better.

This is redeemed by Tallulah Grieves character Lauren. She's very good . As are all the female actors. The male leads are pretty dreadful. No chemistry between any of them. This is a teen "comedy" and probably ( the only time I'll write this) needs an live audience .

Smarter than most Millennial sitcoms

Firstly I thought all the actors embodied their roles really well. Theo Stevenson was by far the funniest with superb comedic timing and managed to come across endearing despite the nature of his character. I found myself bursting out with laughter at some of his lines.

The show really demonstrated the reality of the new working world for the young millienials and older gen Z kids. The older generation may not find it as relatable but it's clearly not for them.

It explored some interesting events that happen when you first leave home that are incredibly relatable. I hope it gets picked up for another season

Sensitive funny sweet

A teen spin off of Millie Inbetween is an odd premise because the characters felt the same age as me and I am still a child but yet they are swearing drinking and having sex. I suppose it feels a bit like grown-ish. So happy they made it through! Despite the fact I am a year or so off that stage it will see me through my future, and I love to see more of those characters. It is brilliant in its handling of issues that gen z is now starting to get to. It is a great watch because it is more serious about its messages than before but keeps that childish wonder. The future of tv, humanity and the actors looks bright. Loved it !
