Wow! Rome Flynn is gorgeous! What a smile!
I like this film, I'm not sure it's possible to achieve all that they do in just 6 days, but it's got an upbeat vibe and the song is a positive one for a change.
They manage to incorporate a lot of characters without compromising on the leading romance and how it builds and it's also full of the great things that make Christmas special.

6/10 - fun inn-set and music-filled holiday flick to watch with some hot chocolate and warm under the covers
Music, Chaley Rose, Rome Flynn , Christmas and nice atmosphere. Seductive supporting acting and high predactibility . Far to be special, it is charming and well crafted. So, not many to say but , after a busy day, a reasonable option with sweet Christmas cookies flavors.
There is something about a Chaley Rose's voice that is so soothing. Just saw her in my Best Friends Bouquet the other day. She can pull off the silliest dialogue with that calm voice. I liked her sidekick too. Calmed down an anxious mood for me. My rating very generous, but need to offset some of those really low ones. Not that bad guys
6.4 stars.
Compared to many Christmas films, 'A Christmas Duet' is more along the lines of picture perfect. This is only because of the great cinematography, lighting, and sets. For drama and humor and entertainment value, however, it falls severely short of the mark for me. The dialogue is the same old stuff. I will say the music was decent, but there wasn't enough. There is only a couple of songs worth of good material with our leads singing a duet in one of them, and the male lead (if he was even a lead) mainly singing his other material. Back to my little side remark, is there a male lead in this? No. Three males share virtually the same screen time.
The lead female is a bit wooden, which is the best word I have to describe her personality for this character. She is not expressive and has zero emotion. She was never happy, sad, angry, or anything, except disappointed. I think if that's an emotion, she has that one figured out. There is no zest to the love story at all. The best part was possibly the pregnant co-owner woman who is expecting at any time, yet her character is very emotional and too silly. If she might be the best aspect of 'A Christmas Duet', that tells you how unsatisfactory it is.
