Hutch is officially back in the new poster for Nobody 2, and yes, he has the kitty cat bracelet.
In the new official poster, provided by @NobodyMovie on X, Bob Odenkirk's Hutch is wearing a Hawaiian shirt and, in a hilarious nod to the previous film, is also wearing a Kitty cat bracelet. According to Bleeding Cool News, Universal unveiled the new poster for the highly anticipated sequel before their presentation at CinemaCon. Nobody was one of 2021's biggest surprises, with a solid box office haul of $57.5 million worldwide, and it received its fair share of positive reviews. Nobody earned an 84% Rotten Tomatoes score and showed that Odenkirk could pull off John Wick-style action sequences just as well as he can make audiences laugh. The highly anticipated sequel is set to land in theaters on August 15. Check out the first official poster for Nobody 2 below.

Fresh off of directing the Bob Odenkirk action sequel Nobody 2 (which is now in post-production) for Universal, Timo Tjahjanto has signed on to direct the Jason Statham action sequel The Beekeeper 2 for Miramax! Deadline reports that filming on the Statham movie is expected to begin this fall.
Directed by David Ayer from a screenplay written by Kurt Wimmer, The Beekeeper was a surprisingly good action flick that showed us what happens when one man’s brutal campaign for vengeance takes on national stakes after he is revealed to be a former operative of a powerful and clandestine organization known as “Beekeepers.” As Deadline reminds us, it was about Adam Clay, a retired clandestine human intelligence operative who sets out for revenge after his kind-hearted landlady becomes the victim of a phishing scam that steals millions of dollars from a charity she runs. Starring Break Bad and Better Call Saul's beloved veteran actor Bob Odenkirk, Nobody made a surprise splash when it hit theaters in early 2021, during the tumultuous box-office stretch of the post-pandemic. Despite the pedigree of its main star, this small-budget action flick punched well above everyone's expectations, delivering nearly $60 million on a budget of just $16 million.
A lot of that success has to do with not just Bob Odenkirk's presence (although that certainly helped) but also the creative DNA that Nobody shares with the John Wick franchise, being written by Wick's creator, Derek Kolstad. Following that warm reception, it didn't take long for Kolstad and members of the film's cast to begin teasing the possibility of a sequel. Now, three years later, fans know that a sequel to Nobody isn't just on its way; it's almost here.

The return of a reality TV monster that’s sure to dominate social media conversation; Charlie and Nick’s blossoming romance; a fascinating behind-the-scenes look at the NBA courtesy of LeBron James and Anthony Edwards; the latest gem from an action auteur; Tyler Perry’s first Netflix television drama and another helping espionage and drama from Keri Russell are some of the highlights among the new films and series hitting Netflix in October.

Back in 2021, actor/comedian Bob Odenkirk – who is best known for playing the role of con artist turned lawyer Saul Goodman on the TV series on Breaking Bad and its spin-off Better Call Saul – made the unexpected move of playing a retired government assassin in the action thriller Nobody. Doing the unexpected worked out, as Nobody was a success, making $57.5 million at the box office on a budget of $16 million. That was enough to get a sequel greenlit – and now that production has started on that sequel, we figured this was a good time to put together a list of Everything We Know About Nobody 2!
Script
Scripted by John Wick writer Derek Kolstad, Nobody saw Odenkirk playing Hutch Mansell, an office worker and family man who proves to be a capable fighter when facing off with a group of drunk criminals on a bus. He’s a bit too capable,...

Timo Tjahjanto, director of Nobody 2, is known for his brutal and bloody action thrillers. The Night Comes for Us features intense fight scenes and a surprisingly emotional father-daughter dynamic. Nobody 2, with Bob Odenkirk, promises to deliver action-packed thrills and emotional depth.
Before Timo Tjahjanto directs Bob Odenkirk in the highly anticipated Nobody 2, its the perfect time to check out the filmmakers criminally underrated action thriller on Netflix. With Better Call Sauls Odenkirk in the lead role, playing a seemingly ordinary suburban family guy who turns out to have a dark history of government wetwork, Nobody offered a fresh perspective on the action genre. A sequel to Nobody has been in the works since it arrived as a sleeper hit in 2021. Despite being released at the tail end of the pandemic, it made a minor splash at the box office.
In the past few months, work on Nobody 2 has finally gotten underway.

The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (Asean) is a regional intergovernmental organization comprising of ten countries in Southeast Asia, namely Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam. Evidently, the movie industry of these countries does not yet reach the size of Japan, India and S. Korea for example, so we decided to include them in one list, although we still retain a hope that in the next years, we will see a cinematic boom from there also. Evidently, the Philippines are at least a step ahead of the rest of the Asean countries in that regard, which is the reason so many films from the country are included in the list, but particularly in 2020, both Malaysia and Indonesia have taken step forward, with a number of exciting productions. Also of note is that this list includes a number of shorts, from directors we feel will draw attention...

Following the critical and commercial success of the first May the Devil Take You, director Timo Tjahjanto brings several costars back this go-round for a second thrilling chapter in the series of Alfie confronting terrifying ghostly beings. Despite a few minor miscalculations from time-to-time, this is a spectacular and rewarding sequel now available to stream on Shudder.
Believing she has survived the ordeal, Alfie (Chelsea Islan) and Nara (Hadijah Shahab) try to get by with their lives only to be suddenly attacked and kidnapped by a group of intruders one evening. Earlier this month, the 2020 Nightstream Film Festival offered up genre fans a ton of amazing online offerings to enjoy throughout its four-day festivities. Here’s a look at two of the films I had the opportunity to watch during Nightstream: May the Devil Take You Too from Timo Tjahjanto (which hits Shudder soon) and Jesse Blanchard’s puppet splatterfest, Frank & Zed.
May the Devil Take You Too: Two years ago, Timo Tjahjanto unleashed May the Devil Take You, his demonic thrill ride pitting a young woman named Alfie (Chelsea Islan) and her step-family against sinister forces that want nothing more than to claim their souls. Now, Tjahjanto is back with his follow-up effort, May the Devil Take You Too, which feels slightly more ambitious and polished than its predecessor, and once again evokes a Raimi-esque sense of banana pants filmmaking that delivers up a ton of devilishly fun gore and violence.

If you’re looking for the next Sam Raimi, you might not need to look much further than Timo Tjahjanto. While many of you probably know the filmmaker best for his recent action film, “The Night Comes for Us,” he also released a horror film in 2018 titled, “May the Devil Take You.” And while Raimi’s name is nowhere to be found on that film, or the upcoming sequel, “May the Devil Take You Too,” it’s clear that Tjahjanto is a fan of the filmmaker’s horror output.
