After wrapping production on Outlander after eight seasons, the drama’s showrunner is paying tribute to, quite possibly, the best location ever to shoot a series — Scotland.
“I say goodbye to Scotland, hopefully not for the last time, it feels like I’m leaving more than just a location,” he wrote on Instagram. “What started as a distant place across the world has become a home in the truest sense. From day one, the people of Scotland welcomed a small group of Sassenachs from Los Angeles with open arms. They didn’t just let us film here—they embraced us, shared their stunning landscapes and culture, and made us feel like we belonged.”
“Working on Outlander has been the journey of a lifetime,” he continued. “I arrived as a writer/producer not fully knowing what this adventure would hold.

Prince Markie Dee, radio personality and the Fat Boys rapper, has died. He was 52 years old.
Dee’s longtime friend Louis Gregory confirmed the news via Twitter on Thursday (Feb. 18), though did not reveal a cause of death.
“Forever in my Heart,” he wrote. “Prince Markie Dee was more than a rapper; he was one of my very best and closest friends. My heart breaks today because I lost a brother. I’ll always love you Mark and I’ll cherish everything you taught me. Tomorrow is your birthday, swing my way big bro.”
