Silly, Bad Acting, Complete Waste of time

Apparently those rating this movie over 1 star are connected to it in some way. This has got to be one of the worst movies I have ever seen. The acting is laughable. The movie is not even about Hockey. Bad on all fronts! Terrible writing. Simply silly! I don't normally comment on movies, but this one was so poorly done, Don't waste your time watching. Both the kid and the so called coach were just terrible. I rented this because I thought it was a hockey movie. Worse than a Hallmark movie that tried to evoke emotions but fell short. I almost turned it off but thought it would get better, a complete waste of time!

Because the director wanted to have authentic-looking hockey in the film he chose to cast all the roles of the hockey teams and coaches with real high school and college hockey players. He felt it would be better to look for hockey players that had some natural acting ability and give them acting coaches rather than trying to train actors to play hockey.
