In the second week of its release the film faced competition with big Hindi release Gangubai Kathiawadi from 25th February 2022.But the big films release did not impact on collections of Pawankhind and shows were running houseful simultaneously for both the films.
Film's release got delayed at least by a year due to COVID pandemic and non operational of cinema halls.
Film was earlier titled Jung Jauhar when it was launched.
