Absolutely undeserving of the low rating it has on IMDB. This movie is very good and well worth the watch. The premise is that a group of 5 people go to a cabin for vacation, and can't leave - if they try to, they get transported back to the attic of the cabin.
Now, there are things that that some people have taken issue with, that I was more than willing to overlook, especially in a lower budget film:
The blood effects - I only noticed what looked like 'bad blood' to me in one scene....the rest of it looked ok to me.
The acting - I actually thought the acting was good. I've seen some bad acting, and this wasn't.
A couple of things I noticed:
There are some weird camera flares (I think that's what they are) throughout a lot of the movie. I don't know if these were on purpose to not. I thought at one point maybe they we intentional, but they seem to have no point,or at least nothing is ever mentioned about the,. On the other hand, nothing is show on film any more, so you'd think they've have noticed and fixed these immediately if they weren't on purpose.
I hate when a movie starts with a scene from later in the movie, and this one does that...it doesn't add anything, and it just gives away some of the plot needlessly. In this particular movie, they jump into the action quickly, so there's really no need for it.
I recommend this one!!!
