There’s plenty to look forward to in Hulu’s incoming slate, including the latest “American Horror Story” installment, BAFTA winner “The Banshees of Inisherin,” and new “The Kardashians.” But unfortunately, the streamer has to lose to gain, and new content means a library cleanout.

Jason Ritter is getting candid about being a nepotism baby.
While appearing on Thursday’s episode of SiriusXM’s The Jess Cagle Show, the Parenthood actor credits his first acting job as a child, voicing the Little Acorn in the cartoon The Real Story of O Christmas Tree, to his father, the late John Ritter.
“I will say, without any hesitation, this was like a full-on nepotism hire. I will admit that,” he joked. “He [John] for sure got me the job. I did try to stay away from that later.”
The 8 Simple Rules star, who died of an aortic dissection in 2003 at the age of 54, voiced Piney, the Little Acorn’s uncle in the cartoon.

Prince Azim, a film producer and a famed party figure who was fourth in line to the Brunei throne, has died at the age of 38. Cause of death was not confirmed but local media said he had been battling illness for a long time. A week of national mourning has been declared in Brunei.
Known for rubbing shoulders with celebrities including Pamela Anderson, Michael and Janet Jackson, and Scarlett Johansson, he also produced movies including the Hilary Swank-starring drama You’re Not You and Rupert Everett’s long-in-the-making Oscar Wilde film The Happy Prince.
He also drew controversy last year for his support of Brunei’s plan to introduce a strict religious law that included the death penalty for homosexuality. In response, Hollywood figures including George Clooney called for a boycott of the Brunei-owned Dorchester Collection hotels.

With production scheduled to begin next month in South Africa, Resident Evil: The Final Chapter has brought in Ali Larter to portray Claire Redfield. This final installment of the Resident Evil franchise will be Ali Larter's third time portraying Claire Redfield, following 2007's Resident Evil: Extinction and 2010's Resident Evil: Afterlife. Milla Jovovich is coming back as Alice, but no other cast members have been officially confirmed at this point.
Production on this sequel has been delayed a few times, following the 2012 release of Resident Evil: Retribution. Filming was supposed to begin on Resident Evil: The Final Chapter in the fall of 2013, but that never came to pass. Last year, Milla Jovovich announced on her Facebook page that shooting was being pushed by one year, due to the actress' pregnancy. Production is still slated to take place in Cape Town, South Africa, which is where pre-production was taking place when the delay was announced.

The Babadook Along with It Follows, The Babadook is a bit of a re-energizer in the horror genre, delivering mood and atmosphere over jump scares and gore. As Marvel prepares to unleash Avengers: Age of Ultron into the world in just a few short weeks, the studio is already prepping their monstrous Phase Three slate, which includes nine movies in just a three year span. One of them is Black Panther, slated for release on July 8, 2016, which already has Chadwick Boseman attached to star as T'Challa. While the project does not have a writer or director yet, El Mayimbe reports that Ernie Hudson is circling the role of T'Challa's father, T'Chaka. Here's what he had to say below.
"#Marvel #BlackPanther #Rumor Actor Ernie Hudson is circling the role of King T'Chaka ruler of Wakanda & father of Chadwick Boseman's T'Challa aka The Black Panther."
Naturally, this has not been confirmed by Marvel, but El Mayimbe's sources reveal that Ernie Hudson has reportedly been hitting the gym and picking up back issues of the Black Panther comic books that pertain to T'Chaka.

Josh Duhamel and Ernie Hudson have been cast in baseball drama The Wrong Stuff.
The film has been adapted from the best-selling memoir by ex-pitcher Bill 'Spaceman' Lee, according to Deadline.
Set in the 1980s, the film chronicles the downward spiral of Major League pitcher Bill Lee, played by Duhamel.
Hudson will portray Joe, the only black player and first baseman for an all-white, French Canadian amateur club.
It is the second time the actors have worked together after co-starring opposite Hilary Swank and Loretta Devine in last year's You're Not You.
Brett Rankin penned the script and will also direct the project, which will begin shooting next week.
Duhamel can next be seen in CBS drama Battle Creek, which premieres in the Us tomorrow evening (March 1).

What will March bring to Netflix? Plenty of great TV shows, some killer recent and classic movies, and a slew of highly anticipated Netflix Originals.
First off, there's more amazing TV coming to Netflix in March than we've seen in the past six, with new seasons of "Mad Men," "Glee," and "Archer" coming to the streaming service. What's more? The complete series of "3rd Rock From the Sun" (Yes!) and "A Different World" are also being added. For the latter, I plan on queueing up some "very special episodes" that remind me of my childhood. Also, Marisa Tomei was on it. Remember?! In addition to the shows you know, some spankin' new Netflix Originals are being added: Tina Fey's half-hour comedy "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt," starring "The Office's" Ellie Kemper, and "Bloodline," a dramatic thriller starring Oscar-winner Sissy Spacek.
In terms of movies, Netflix is not disappointing. Recent releases...

I'm one of those guys that don't watch the Super Bowl for the game. I watch the Super Bowl for the commercials and movie spots, and there were a lot of great commercials this year! Companies spent a combined $359 million on advertising during this year's Super Bowl, with each 30-second spot estimated to cost about $4.5 million.
A few of my favorite commercials included the ones for Skittles, Snickers, Liam Neeson's amazing Clash of Clans spot, and of course Esurance's "Say May Name" commercial with Bryan Cranston reprising his role as Walter White. Even though there were a lot of great commercials, there were some bad ones sprinkled in there as well, like Kim Kardashian's T-Mobile commercial and Nationwide's "Make Safe Happen," which caused a lot of controversy.

While many weren't too familiar with Als (a.k.a. Lou Gehrig's Disease) before this summer, the hundreds of Ice Bucket Challenge videos helped spread awareness of this degenerative disease. Today, we have the first trailer for You're Not You, which stars Hilary Swank as Kate, a pianist who becomes stricken with Als.

Awareness of Als (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, or Lou Gherig's disease) has been raised exponentially thanks to the online charity trend of the Als Ice Bucket Challenge, with donations going to the Als Association, aiming to find a cure for the disease that attacks the nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord that control voluntary muscle movement. All the talk about support to fight disease is mere coincidence as a film called You're Not You is on the way featuring Hilary Swank as a famous pianist who suddenly finds herself diagnosed by the disease, and hires an unconventional assistant, Emmy Rossum, to help her cope. It looks pretty conventional and very melodramatic, but also pretty uplifting on some level, I guess. Watch! Here's the first trailer for George C. The trailer for director George C. Wolfe’s new film You’re Not You has some incredible timing on its side. Thanks to the viral phenomenon of those ubiquitous ice bucket challenge videos, I think it’s safe to say that awareness for Als is at an all-time high. The film stars Hilary Swank as a famous pianist who is stricken with the disease and hires an unconventional assistant, Emmy Rossum, to help her cope. Going off the trailer, the film looks well made if not a little conventional. It’s hard for me to fault these kinds of movies for that though, we all need to find the uplifting elements in any tragic scenario I suppose. Hit the jump for the You’re Not You trailer. The film also stars Josh Duhamel, Marcia Gay Harden, Jason Ritter, Ali Larter, and Loretta Devina and opens in theaters and On Demand on October 10th.

I love that Tommy Lee Jones is carrying a torch for the western genre. He gave us "The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada" nearly a decade ago and 10 years prior, his directorial debut was the TV movie "The Good Old Boys." Now he's saddling back up (so to speak) with "The Homesman," and like "Three Burials," we can probably expect it to debut at Cannes next month. The film, based on the novel by Glendon Swarthout ("The Shootist"), stars Jones as a claim jumper who teams up with a pioneer woman (Hilary Swank) to escort three insane women from Nebraska to a sanitarium in Iowa. During the unkind days of the Old West, souls and minds were broken aplenty. It's the kind of story you don't often hear about in the genre, which makes me excited to see what Jones has done with it. This looks to be a tale of a misfit making good,...

Let's dust off the old part-time specialty feature "Oscar Bait" with some news on an acquisition, shall we? Now, this time last year a lot of eyes were turned toward Naomi Watts in what seemed like a baity role as Princess Diana in "Diana." Then the film waited for a distributor, and waited, and waited. The writing was on the wall by the time Entertainment One grabbed it and it went nowhere with critics, audiences and, certainly, awards-voting bodies. This year, the upstart distributor has another play that may or may not work out on the circuit, "You're Not You" starring two-time Best Actress Oscar winner Hilary Swank. Emmy Rossum, Josh Duhamel, Loretta Divine, Ernie Hudson and Marcia Gay Harden also star. Here's the official synopsis: "'You're Not You' centers on the relationship between Kate (Swank), a woman who has been immobilized by Als - also known as...

This month alone, the Cinemax channels are running both of the dramas that earned her Academy Awards for best actress -- "Boys Don't Cry" and "Million Dollar Baby" -- and also are featuring her as part of the huge ensemble cast of the comedy "New Year's Eve."
And that's hardly all: Swank also is evident in March showings of "Freedom Writers" (which she also executive-produced) on MTV, "The Core" on IFC, "The Next Karate Kid" on Encore Family, and her pre-Oscars TV movie "Terror in the Family" on The Movie Channel Extra.
"I appreciate all the opportunities I've had," Swank tells Zap2it, "from my early television work until now. Some of that television work might not be the most astute material, but they were great chances for me to grow and to learn as an actor.
