Jujutsu Kaisen's epic Shibuya Incident arc is reaching its long-awaited conclusion and Season 2 episode #22 will likely go a long way in setting that up. The arc has been great but it doesn't have too many dangling plot threads to wrap up so it will likely be able to end on a satisfying note. However, depending on what happens in the final episodes, it may not be a good note for the anime's protagonists.

Filmmaker, actor, chef and television personality Eddie Huang (“Boogie,” “Fresh Off the Boat”) has signed on to direct a new documentary exploring the rise and surprising fall of Vice Media.

In a dramatic turn of events, the digital media company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in May after boasting a valuation of $5.7 billion in 2017. Earlier this month, Vice Media Group announced a new restructuring plan and layoffs in the wake of its bankruptcy and $350 million asset sale.

Huang has an unique perspective on the story: for four seasons, he hosted “Huang’s World” on Vice, which chronicled his travels around the world to learn about local history, culture and food.

“For the majority of my late-20s and 30s, I loved Vice,” Huang says in a statement announcing the project. “It gave a generation of talent the opportunity to make things they didn’t have anywhere else.”

In Henry Selick's 1993 stop-motion animated fantasy "The Nightmare Before Christmas," Jack Skellington is the community's most famous local hero, but he is not a killer. Indeed, Jack seems to be good-hearted (if he had a heart) and secretly longs for romance. The local mad scientist Dr. Finkelstein (William Hickey) can resurrect dead skeletons, but he doesn't want to take lives. Even the two-faced Mayor (Glenn Shadix) is more ineffectual than evil. 

The only monster in Halloween Town that truly longs for violence and aches to kill people with his own hands is Oogie Boogie, a.k.a. the Boogeyman (Ken Page). As imagined by the film's designer, Tim Burton, Oogie Boogie is a large, empty-eyed burlap sack full of bugs and snakes.

Before bringing his life experiences to television, Huang owned the iconic NYC restaurant Baohaus, ushering in a generation of Taiwanese-Chinese restaurants over the course of a decade in business and launching his career as the host of cooking shows, including “Cheap Bites,” “Unique Eats” and “Huang’s World.”

The project is set in contemporary New York City and follows a Chinese-American basketball phenom who struggles to balance the expectations of his immigrant family with his own dreams of becoming a player for the NBA.

Huang, the son of Taiwanese immigrants, is the author of the autobiographical “Fresh off the Boat: A Memoir,” which was adapted into the ABC television series of the same name. “Fresh Off the Boat” starts its sixth season next month. He most recently created and starred in Viceland’s “Huang’s World.”

Josh Bratman of Immersive Pictures, Josh McLaughlin of Wink Productions and Michael Tadross will produce. Focus Features will distribute the movie domestically, and Universal Pictures International will handle foreign distribution.
