In the 4th episode of Nine Bodies in a Mexican Morgue, we learned that Zack was actually a DEA agent, and he was married to Claire, who was also a DEA agent, and they had a daughter named Lucy. But after Lisa’s death, since Zack was framed as the killer, Sonja, Kevin, Dan, and Amy turned against him and tied him to a tree. While Sonja, Dan, and Amy trekked up the hill to reconnect the Elt to the antenna, Kevin was tasked with getting the code to the satellite phone out of Zack, since they believed he was the one who was looking after the drugs in the crashed plane. Kevin didn’t get any secret code, because Zack was apparently not the killer, and he wasn’t communicating with Aero Alux’s MD, Cora, regarding the contraband. That said, Sonja successfully got the Elt to start emitting a signal again.

Time is slipping away on the MGM+ series Nine Bodies in a Mexican Morgue. With just three episodes left to go, many viewers are likely rooting for Kevin Anderson to survive, since he's played by Eric McCormack. The actor is still beloved from his role on Will & Grace -- so did that help him perplex the audience when portraying a potential murder suspect?
Conversely, Lydia Wilson's character Sonja Blair was one of the first suspects, with her abrasive personality and guarded behavior. But what was that like for the actor to play? In an interview with Cbr, Blair and McCormack talked about working to keep the show's suspense going, and revealed the challenges they faced during filming.

In the 3rd episode of Nine Bodies in a Mexican Morgue, Carlos, Kevin, and Sonja trekked up a treacherous hill to plant the Elt on top of it and signal a rescue helicopter to the location of the survivors of the plane crash. But the mystery killer who had been circling them stabbed Carlos during one of his nocturnal workout sessions and even unplugged the Elt from the antenna it was connected to. While the identity of the murderer continued to be a big question mark, the reason behind the murders became apparent: there were drugs inside the body of the plane. So, someone was clearly killing off the survivors so that nobody would learn about those drugs, which were worth millions of dollars, and try to earn off of them, thereby eating into the mystery person’s share. Now, we learned about these drugs because of a wild gecko.

The following contains spoilers for Nine Bodies in a Mexican Morgue Season 1, Episode 3, "Rapido," which debuts Sunday, Mar. 16 on MGM+ .
With two down and seven to go, Nine Bodies in a Mexican Morgue hits the halfway point with “Rapido.” Not only keeping the resurrection of this murder mystery on track but also taking audiences on location. There are still some bad feelings around the camp, but at least a change of scenery brings a fresh perspective. Unfortunately, further complications are inevitable if those men at the Mexican morgue ever hope to find out what happened. Death is in the cards, and everyone has booked an early grave with one exception. Whether at the hands of a silent assailant or an elusive Mexican luchador, their fates are sealed.

The MGM+ thriller Nine Bodies in a Mexican Morgue keeps getting closer to its title. As the miniseries reaches its halfway point, some of the survivors are no longer surviving. In the 2nd episode of Nine Bodies in a Mexican Morgue, we got a peek into the lives of the survivors of the plane crash, followed by a death that caused them to suspect each other. Kevin used to practice medicine, but when he almost killed one of his patients by accident, he lost everything in his personal and professional lives. That forced him to go into business buying medical equipment from Guatemala at dirt-cheap prices and selling it in the USA for a profit. The revelations about how Dan and Amy “fell in love” with each other sounded dubious, and it seemed like Dan was with Amy just for her money. Apart from being a luchador, Carlos was good with electronics, and he planned to use the plane’s Elt to signal for help. Travis and Lisa not only ran a chain of motels, but Lisa had also worked at a hospice,...

The MGM+ miniseries Nine Bodies in a Mexican Morgue already has guessing as to who is killing the survivors of a plane crash. The following contains spoilers for Nine Bodies in a Mexican Morgue Season 1, Episode 1, "Black Angels," which debuts Sunday, Mar. 9 on MGM+ .
Nine Bodies in a Mexican Morgue had to get better. After an opening episode that struggled to hit pay dirt dramatically, another installment of this MGM+ original was not a welcome prospect. For a series that had been hailed as a complex murder mystery filled with countless twists and turns, there was little evidence of that in the premiere. An hour of bone-dry introductions that did little to instill confidence or give this group of talented actors much to work with. However, with two bodies already under a tarp, at least this murder-mystery will be short-lived.
What a difference a day makes; not only is Season 1, Episode 2, “Black Angels” an improvement on that opener, but it feels like a different show. Gone are those awkward moments of dramatic downtime...

In the 1st episode of Nine Bodies in a Mexican Morgue, we saw Cora and Emilio waiting outside a military base in Los Trios, Mexico, where, well, 9 bodies were brought into the morgue. Subteniente Ignacio Lopez and Capitan Gabriel Vega were overseeing the investigation into the deaths of these 9 people who had apparently survived a plane crash (probably) in the jungles near Mexico but were then killed off pretty methodically. The show then turned back the clock by around 9 days when the aforementioned crash happened. The flight attendant, Beatriz, died almost instantly because she wasn’t strapped in. The passengers—Amy, Dan, Travis, Lisa, Zack, Kevin, Sonja, and Carlos—were mostly unscathed. The pilot, Octavio, had a punctured lung because a tree branch had gone through the cockpit’s windshield. Since Kevin was kind of a doctor, he managed to stabilize Octavio. However, in the dark of the night, somebody suffocated the pilot to death.

The MGM+ survival thriller Nine Bodies in a Mexican Morgue makes a pretty bold statement. By the title alone, viewers know most of the show's characters won't make it to the end. What does that mean to the actors playing the survivors of a plane crash? And did any of them know the identity of the murderer?

MGM+’s Nine Bodies in A Mexican Morgue is a run-of-the-mill survival thriller centered around nine survivors who end up in the middle of nowhere. Eight passengers had boarded a flight at the Aurora International Airport in Guatemala headed to Houston, Texas, but before they could reach their destination, the pilot, Octavio Fuentes, lost his bearings due to a faulty Gps system. He tried to contact the authorities and sent numerous requests for immediate help, but no one responded. In the end, the plane ran out of fuel, and Octavio had to make an emergency landing in the Mexican tropical forest.

The first episode of Nine Bodies in a Mexican Morgue begins with nine bodies arriving at the Mexican military camp in Los Trios. Lopez, an officer, informed his senior, Captain Gabriel Vega, that they’d found these dead bodies in a pit all lined up together.

The following contains spoilers for Nine Bodies in a Mexican Morgue Season 1, Episode 1, "Dead Reckoning," which debuts Sunday, Mar. 2 on MGM+ .
Nine Bodies in a Mexican Morgue is a murder-mystery pure and simple. Created by best-selling author Anthony Horowitz for MGM+, it reverse engineers a crime fiction cliché by having the victims turn detective. Coming on like Lost in a South American rainforest, this opening episode starts by laying down some foundations. It gives nothing away to say that Nine Bodies plays a mean game of poker with the audience during that first hour. Conversations between the Mexican military manning this morgue are rife with unanswered questions. There are no body bags yet, and the idea of autopsies is a pipedream for another episode.
With an ensemble cast including Eric McCormack and David Ajala from Star Trek: Discovery, there is not a lot to work with, even after an hour.

Eric McCormack must find an unseen killer from among nine plane crash survivors in the Mexican jungle as, one by one, they face getting killed off in the official trailer for MGM+’s Nine Bodies in a Mexican Morgue.

Sony Pictures Television (Spt) has revealed an increased investment in Eleventh Hour Films (Ehf), taking a majority stake in the U.K.-based production company.
