Do you want a cartoon show with a fun premise, entertaining characters, interesting stories, and some great humor? Dex Hamilton: Alien Entomologist should fit the bill. It's obviously a rather obscure show, and only has twenty-six episodes (unfortunately, I haven't got around to watching them all yet - when I do, I'll probably revise this review a bit). But in my opinion, it's worth a watch.
The greatest flaw of this show is the animation, which is a combination of flash animation and 3D cell-shaded animation. The 3D cell-shaded animation is pretty good! The flash animation is...well..just extremely lazy, and not very good to look at. It's not bad enough to prevent the show as a whole from being enjoyable, though. The show at least tends to have good character designs, in my opinion.
I love the characters on this show - they're funny, likable, and all have interesting backstories and abilities. It also has a fun futuristic setting and lots of zany intergalactic insects.
Overall, a great cartoon for kids or just people who like kids' cartoons.
