Rise of the Scarecrows: Hell on Earth

First of all, the main character is not even remotely a "young man" more like higher end middle age. His dance moves are something you would have seen in a lousy 50's movies. The script, if you can call it that, is terrible; the scarecrows mentioned in the name, are something else. LOL I bet they failed movie scarecrows school. The people are a stupid as it gets. I was in awe to say the least! I am laughing non stop as I type. The person who gave it a 1 has no sense of humor. If I'm going to be stuck indoors when the snow is piled over four feet high, I don't mind a movie so awful that it makes me laugh. Sure beats having to go shovel. Lol.

It was fun and it was interesting and for some it would even be scary. I don't want to be mean and say the acting was bad because I would love to be in a Horror Movie. And I fully support film projects. But come on guys. If you really want people to watch your film give it an honest high rating. Even the Godfather isn't 10 Stars.

...Nothing suspicious there. Come one gang; I'm glad you loved the flick you made but don't sucker the rest of us into watching this lame effort with glowing reviews that only those involved would write. At best this is a nightlight; leave your PC on and let the glow lull you to sleep,. At worst it's inept tripe; poorly. Written, acted and directed. I appreciate that you honestly think you were involved in a masterpiece, but look at it objectively. This is a real time-waster even if you have nothing else to do.

I will admit that i really liked this movie! While the secondary chareacters were a bit wooden - and humorously stupid (watch the old guy box the Big Bad!) the two main characters were likeable and amusing and i liked watching them (the party - hilarious!). The plot was fine - a decent enough setup. Production was fine, direction medium, makeup barely worth talking about. The 'gore' was ... well, not that well done (again more humorous than scary) but the movie was still a good choice for a lazy evening, and, as stated before, the main characters were a bit of a treat. Would recommend for fans of the genre.

Just to join the others here who mention the clear attempt to, uh, how shall we say... Overrate the movie. To put it mildly.

Heh, all you will need is to see is literally the first 3 minutes and I kind of think you just MIGHT get the idea that this film does not dwell or even visit anywhere NEAR the '10' neighbourhood. Again... putting it very mildly.

Probably no need to go into a lot of detail, because as I mentioned I'm pretty dang sure just about ANYONE will get the idea as to how 'well made' this movie is almost immediately. Um... let's see now... How about the 'acting' to use the word very, very loosely. Whew... let's see, what word can I use to best describe the performances here... Hmmm... how about...

Anyway, not gonna waste a lot of time on this one, but when I saw even the current 5.x rating I immediately knew something was amiss. And yeah, sure enough, out of the current 7 reviews, WOW, there are 3 '10' ratings! Wow...

Nope... '3' is about it people. Sorry, to the filmmakers, I know it's very difficult and a lot of work to get these movies made, but... uh, no... '3'...
