Featured review
The story features good content and characters.
However, the screenplay suffers from being excessively slow-paced and lacking excitement.
Both the script and direction fail to match the quality of the original version.
Chiranjeevi is suitable for the role and delivers a commendable performance in many scenes, although some are not handled as effectively.
It would be unfair to compare Chiranjeevi to Mohanlal from the original film.
Sathya Dev also performs well in his role, although not as brilliantly as Vivek Oberoi.
Nayanthara follows her usual pattern of acting, similar to her previous films like "Tulasi," "Viswasam," and "Jayasimha." There's nothing new in her portrayal.
The on-screen pairing of Chiranjeevi and Nayanthara as brother and sister appears odd.
Salman Khan's role feels wasted, or rather, a good role is wasted on Salman.
The background score lifted from Vikram Veda is funny.
The cinematography is well-executed.
Editing seems to focus excessively on slow-motion sequences.
This film is not worth watching in theaters. It would be better to wait for its release on an OTT platform, especially if you haven't seen the original "Lucifer."
