Said to be on the lines of a satire the story involves a plot with a high-end charity gala being raided by a violent group of radicals on a mystical quest to fulfil a prophecy. Also, expect a bit of Greek mythology mixed into the storyline.

Taylor-Joy will take on the role of the passionate antagonist — and Evans will play the movie star she has tapped to die, along with the two others. Casting is still ongoing with more to be added.

Gavras has co-written the script alongside Will Arbery, Gavras will also take the helm on the project. Iconoclast and Robert Walak, the president of Iconoclast’s Film and TV division, will produce with Gavras.

Following Raw and Titane, Julia Ducournau has set her third feature with Alpha. Though no plot details have been unveiled this far, Golshifteh Farahani and Tahar Rahim (A Prophet) will lead the film, Deadline reports. “Alpha is Julia’s most personal, profound work yet, and we are looking forward to a global audience discovering the story with as much excitement as we did,” said Filmnation and Charades, while the producers added, “Alpha is a new page in Julia Ducournau’s corpus that is both very consistent with the previous ones and entirely new in its tone.”

More actors will be set shortly, and I expect that the project — CAA Media Finance is selling the world with Rocket Science — won’t have a lot of territories left by the time buyers hit the Croisette. The tour launched on Friday (October 6) at Dignity Health Sports Park in Los Angeles.

This is the K-Pop group’s second world tour and they are performing 24 songs on the setlist. The tour will stop in five more cities across the U.S. over the next month, including Glendale, Houston, Dallas, Newark, and Chicago.

“Enhypen’s first stadium show has finally been made complete with our ENGENEs. Words can’t express how happy we are right now. ENGENEs make us feel alive, and we feel nothing but thanks. Sweet & Lynch (Stryper singer Michael Sweet and longtime Dokken guitarist George Lynch) have announced their third collaborative album, Heart & Sacrifice, due out May 19th. Ahead of the release date, the duo have offered up the lead single “You’ll Never Be Alone.”

The track showcases the proven talent of both Sweet and Lynch. The singer’s arena-ready vocals are upfront and full of bravado, while the guitarist lays down the chunky riffs and incendiary lead playing that he is known for in Dokken and his own group, The Lynch Mob.

“I’m very pleased with the outcome of the new Sweet & Lynch album Heart & Sacrifice,” Sweet remarked via a press release. “It’s diverse, complex, and flows beautifully. Every song has something to say in its own unique way.”

Pop legends Britney Spears and Elton John have released their new duet “Hold Me Closer.”

It was made available Friday at midnight on the East Coast via streaming services, while an official audio video debuted on John’s YouTube page along with the simple message, “Elton John & Britney Spears’ new single ‘Hold Me Closer’ is out now!”

The duo has been teasing their collaboration for weeks, with its official title revealed Aug. 19 after its pre-save availability was announced and cover art previewed Aug. 8. The song’s title is based on the first three lines of the chorus in John’s 1971 hit “Tiny Dancer,” which he wrote with longtime creative partner Bernie Taupin for the Madman Across the Water album.

“Hold Me Close” marks one of the first major releases for Spears following her 2016 album Glory and first new music since the end of her 13-year conservatorship.
