Christopher Hitchens is the internationally known author and commentator whose recent book 'God Is Not Great' makes an argument for religion being a poison to modern civilization.
Many of the cast members did voice work for numerous anime dubs produced by ADV Films. Lowell Bartholomee was formally a writer and producer for the company and met and worked with members of the cast in that capacity.
A majority of the cast are active in the local theater scene in Austin, Texas. The scene has produced nationally and internationally renowned theater companies like Rude Mechanicals, Refraction Arts Project, Rubber Repertory, and Salvage Vanguard Theater. Many of these companies lent assistance to the production of the film.
Lowell Bartholomee and Rafael Antonio Ruiz met in 1997 while working on a dreadful local production of an even more dreadful play Baruch of Amsterdam. Their friendship and partnership survived that and numerous subsequent crises.
