Carla Collins played Marie in the original run of the Stage Play
In the latter part of Gordon's life, he spent much of his own time writing and putting on plays with his own money. James use to always tell his father it would make more sense to spend the money turning the plays into movies as they would have a chance to make money. That conversation was the inspiration for the play.
James Cullen Bressack self financed the movie and made it in honor of his father, Gordon Bressack's memory.
Gordon Bressack's long time real life writing partner Charlie Howell plays the character based on himself.
The character of George was based on Gordon Bressack.
