We are almost out of new episodes this year.

The good news is that CBS already ordered NCIS Season 23, so more new episodes will arrive in the fall.

But the countdown has begun for the NCIS Season 22 finale, and the network has released early details.

Another hiatus ends with a new NCIS episode on Monday, March 24.

This new episode (Moonlit) is NCIS Season 22, Episode 15. It features a fun guest star.

The NCIS Season 22 finale airs on Monday, May 7. It means the season ends in less than two months.

It’s time for the return of NCIS: Origins.

The new show has been on an extended hiatus since early February, but the break is ending.

NCIS: Origins is a prequel show for the NCIS Universe that tells stories about a young Leroy Jethro Gibbs and his former co-workers.

CBS has aired 13 episodes of the new drama (so far), with more to come this spring.

The bad news is that there are only 18 first-season episodes. Its first season finale hits in late April. That could sneak up on fans who missed the show during its hiatus.

The good news is that CBS ordered a second season that will arrive next year. It gives fans something to look forward to during the long summer hiatus.

NCIS actor Brian Dietzen reportedly teased this appearance to TV Insider when asked if there would be any returning characters in Season 22, saying, "There are. I just worked with one, and I’m not allowed to tell you, but I’ll tell you it’s someone from NCIS‘s past, and it’s going to be fantastic, and I think people will lose their s**t."

The rapper debuted the role in 2009, when “NCIS” was on its sixth season, before the launch of “NCIS: Los Angeles” later that year. “Los Angeles” was the franchise’s first spinoff, and LL Cool J starred in all 14 seasons before the series concluded in 2023. He made another appearance on the flagship series in the months leading up to the “Los Angeles” series finale, and appeared in “NCIS: Hawai’i” in both 2023 and 2024.

The news was announced in a joint Instagram post between LL Cool J and the official “NCIS” account. “Back on set, baby! NCIS. Let’s get it,” he says in the video. He will appear in one episode set to air on April 21.

For some asinine reason, Athena is moonlighting on Doctor Odyssey, 9-1-1: Lone Star literally went down in flames (and radiation), and we discovered that instead of wowing us with something new, the latest spinoff will take place in Nashville.

“General Hospital” has cast daytime newcomer Adrian Anchondo to portray the contract role of Marco, a lawyer with a mysterious past, beginning with the Thursday, March 13 episode of the ABC daytime drama series.

According to the scuttlebutt, Harmon and Bellisario's feud stemmed from the Gibbs star being unhappy with the former "NCIS" showrunner over the behind-the-scenes working conditions. The cast and crew had to work long days, and Harmon reportedly felt that there was too much disorganization and chaos on the set. Bellisario parted ways with "NCIS" after four seasons shortly after, leading to the belief that CBS fired him from his own series at the behest of Harmon.

Actress Michelle Trachtenberg has sadly passed away.

The veteran actress died on Wednesday, February 26.

She was only 39 years old at the time of her death, and the news has shocked the entertainment world.

A cause of death was not revealed, but Michelle was reportedly found “unconscious and unresponsive” on Wednesday morning.

People reported that Michelle had recently gone through a liver transplant, leading to assumptions that she may have suffered complications.

Michelle never publicly addressed her health, which is partly why so many are shocked by her passing.

Michelle Trachtenberg was best known for playing Dawn Summers on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. She played the sister of Buffy Summers (Sarah Michelle Gellar) during the show’s final years (2000-2003).

Michelle was also known for playing Jenny in EuroTrip, Penny in Inspector Gadget, Casey Carlyle in Ice Princess, and Georgina Sparks on Gossip Girl.

The cause and manner of Michelle Trachtenberg’s death will remain undetermined, according to the New York City Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.

Trachtenberg’s famly requested that no autopsy be conducted because of religious reasons. The medical examiner’s office would automatically do an autopsy if foul play or criminality was suspected, but there is none, so the office did not overrule the family’s decision.

Police responded to a 911 call shortly after 8 a.m. Wednesday at a luxury residential tower in midtown Manhattan where Trachtenberg was found unresponsive. Paramedics pronounced her dead at the scene. She was 39.

The former Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Gossip Girl star had recently undergone a liver transplant and may have suffered complications, police sources told ABC News.

A spokesperson for the family issued a statement Wednesday confirming her death. “It is with great sadness to confirm that Michelle Trachtenberg has passed away.

Despite the show's massive ensemble cast, the first character that comes to mind from "NCIS" is Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon). As of today, Lucky Spencer is getting a temporary new look on General Hospital. Fan-favorite Jonathan Jackson is stepping away for a few episodes, making room for Days of our Lives alum Guy Wilson to step into the role. While temporary recasts can be jarring for loyal viewers, fans can rest assured that Jackson’s absence will be short-lived.

Don’t fret, Jackson fans! Soap Opera Digest reports that this switch-up is only for a handful of episodes, and Jackson will be back in Port Charles before you know it. In fact, a spokesperson for the show confirmed that Jonathan is already back on set filming, and we can expect to see him return to our screens later this month.

General Hospital Welcomes Guy Wilson

This recast is exciting news for Days fans.

The role of Lucky Spencer on “General Hospital” will temporarily be played by former “Days of our Lives” star Guy Wilson (ex-Will Horton), beginning with the Tuesday, February 18 episode, Soap Opera Network can confirm.

Jonathan Jackson, who originated the role in 1993, and has appeared off and on ever since (with two other actors assuming the role in between), returned to the series on a full-time basis in August 2024, signing a multi-year contract with the daytime drama series.

In the episode airing on Tuesday, Lucky (Wilson) and Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) are finally introduced to Aiden’s (Colin Cassidy) romantic friend, Tobias, who he had been talking about continuously since coming out to his mom in the December 20, 2023 episode of the series.

The name of the actor portraying Tobias was not released at press time, nor was the reason for the temporary switch in actors for Lucky Spencer.

The NCIS: Origins cast has added another fresh face for the inagural season.

Thus far, 13 episodes of NCIS: Origins have debuted, including the episode Monsoon from February 10.

Only 18 episodes were ordered by CBS, which also shows how close we are to the NCIS: Origins season finale.

Will we get NCIS: Origins Season 2? That has yet to be revealed by the CBS brass.

We can enjoy the ride for now and look forward to the final five episodes of Season 1.

Updated, 2:50 Pm: A man was convicted today on two murder counts in the 2021 deaths of of model Christy Giles and her architect friend Hilda Marcela Cabrales-Arzola. The Los Angeles jury returned the guilty verdicts against David Pearce, 42, who also was convicted on a half-dozen sexual assault charges.

Pearce’s sentencing was scheduled for March 13.

The jury, however, deadlocked on charges against co-defendant Brandt Osborn, 45, who was facing two counts of being an accessory after the fact. L.A. Superior Court Judge Eleanor J. Hunter declared a

mistrial on those charges.

Along with the murder charges, Pearce was found guilty on three counts of forcible rape, two counts of sexual penetration by use of force and one count each of rape of an unconscious person and sodomy by use of force. All of those alleged crimes occurred between 2007 and 2020.
