There's exciting news to share for Supernatural fans who have been waiting for the next project from Jensen Ackles. Ackles announced in a post on Instagram that Countdown wrapped filming on its 13-episode first season. The actor shared a carousel of behind-the-scenes photos from the set of the forthcoming series from One Chicago and FBI creator and executive producer Derek Haas. In the post's caption, Ackles wrote, "What a beautiful ride it has been these past 6 months. A brilliant crew, a fantastic cast and an absolutely wonderful experience."

Tubi, the free ad-supported streamer owned by Fox, continues to grow in popularity, as evidenced by data about Super Bowl viewership published in Nielsen’s monthly Gauge report.

Nielsen says that the Super Bowl, which aired on Fox this year, led Feb. 9 to become the second-most watched day of television since the measurement began aggregating monthly viewing reports in March of 2021 with more than 110 billion minutes watched. That stat is unsurprising, as this year’s big game was already reported as the most-watched in history with 127.7 million viewers.

But the most interesting data point about Super Bowl viewership was about streaming: Of those that streamed the game rather than watching on broadcast, one-third tuned in via Tubi. Tubi also attracted a different demographic than other platforms, with viewers skewing slightly female and being 38% more likely to fall within ages 18-34 than the game’s overall audience. Super Bowl Sunday was the second most-watched day of TV in the history of Nielsen’s monthly Gauge reports, exceeding 110 billion viewing minutes, Neilsen revealed Tuesday.

That milestone is thanks in large part to the 127.7 million viewers who watched the big game via Fox, and the simulcast on free ad-supported platform Tubi that accounted for a third of streaming usage.

Viewers that watched Tubi during the Super Bowl were 38% more likely to be in the 18 to 34 age range than the total game average and also skewed slightly female. Tubi’s February usage was up 17% over January to finish with 2% of total TV watch-time, its largest share since July 2024.

Overall, TV viewing on Feb. 9 trailed the all time leader, Super Bowl Sunday 2024, by just 500 million minutes.

Despite Tubi’s gains, YouTube still reigned supreme with the largest share of TV viewing for the month at 11.6%, a 2.5% increase versus the previous month.

The dressing room wasn’t exactly isolated from the rest of the store. So, for her to have been taken, someone in there would have noticed.

While Tracker is a procedural that deals with different missing persons cases that survivalist Colter Shaw takes on from one episode to the next, there’s an overarching story that bleeds through the entire series. It’s that of the death of Colter’s father, Ashton. When Colter was a teenager, his father left their off-the-grid home without explanation. Colter went out an hour later to search for him and found him dead at the bottom of a cliff.

When Colter looked up, he saw his older brother Russell standing at the top of the cliff and assumed that he pushed their father to his death. He learned as an adult, however, that that wasn’t the case. The mystery has taken twists and turns since, but there’s no resolution. A fan theory, however, suggests that the situation is far more complicated than expected.
