    At Least It Ended

If you've got an option better this movie or watching paint dry, go with the paint option.

It was poor....poor budget, poor directing, poor script, poor acting, poor cohesion, poor plot, poor ending and a poor use of my time.

The story made no sense on so many levels, and had nonsequitors everywhere. The best acting was the daughter who was asleep and/or comatose for most of the movie.

The gone crazy lead guy puts on black camouflage grease before the final showdown-a final showdown that takes place in a brick and mortar building-if there was any foliage there it was definitely well camouflaged and he should have used whatever the plants had use! I'm being facetious here but the money had props that made no sense, deadly tortures that made even less sense and really senseless acting.

Go stare at the drying paint for 2 hours. Better use of your time than that movie!

    Great Storyline

I was pretty impressed that so much happened in less than two hours. Timing was also pretty well done. Movie did not feel slow or rushed. My only minor gripe is the acting from some of the characters and the special effects could have been better. If you can look past that though, this is definitely worth a watch.

As far as the content of the story, it was the all too familiar daughter getting kidnapped and dad with tactical experience going out to save her. What makes this one stand out a bit though is the slightly supernatural aspect to it. The supernatural part though, does not steal too much spotlight.

    Wasn't To Bad!

The only thing that could've been better was some of the acting!!! There are just a few small parts where they look like the actors were just handed their scripts and read it 10 minutes before they went to shoot that scene! The graphics could've been a little better considering we are in 2023 and if someone can go viral acting like they've seen Bigfoot on their iPhone then you'd think the director that had way more money for a budget to make an actual movie could've done way better but it's really not that bad but it just definitely been a lot better!!!!!!! Overall tho, I did like the storyline so I continued to watch and it really wasn't a complete waste of my time because if it was that bad I would've never watched the whole movie so it was a decent watch.

Very violent but I really enjoyed it.

I really did not expect this would be the type of movie it turned out to be. I saw the title and the word crossroad and the first thing that occurred to me was Robert Johnson. He died nine years before I was born, but as an almost young adult, I not only heard a recording of him playing the guitar and singing but I became a fan. You add crossroad and devil, so I thought the movie was about him. Turned out to be a whole lot more violent that I expected, not my type of movie, but I made an exception. Glad I did. He was indeed mentioned but not in the way I thought. If you don't like a LOT of violence, this is not the movie for you, but I grew up watching horror movies, so it was fine with me.

A new low in amateur film making

Dreadful is the first word that comes to mind when I try to describe just how bad this movie is, so first the positives. The plot is certainly kind of original in that it seems as if 2 different people wrote separate scripts and someone made the tragic mistake of combining them. It's just kind of bizarre and maybe with some money and real talent a better movie could have been made. But there is no talent here, I mean none, and this couldn't have cost more than $68 and free coupons for fast food to the cast. Another positive is the mainly male cast, who are actually fairly nice looking. Ben Gavin in the lead actually has a great look for the big screen, but Kirk Fox as the devil is about the only one of the entire cast who can act. Every scene seems to be a contest for worst actor ever. So some nice looking guys, an odd plot and those are the positives. Everything else here is a huge negative. The script is below amateur, the cinematography and editing were obviously performed by someone who was clueless as to filming a movie or color grading and I doubt the movie was even directed. It's almost amazing, and not in any enjoyable way, how unprofessional this looks. It's not so bad it's funny. I think pathetic is a better word. I blame the bad acting more on a lack of direction than on the actors themselves. If a child with a vivid imagination wrote this, it would make sense, but if adults actually cobbled this together, there is no reason for it to be as awful as it is. If you know movies by The Asylum, their productions look like Big Budget Hollywood as compared to this. Not worth watching.
