American Nightmare Season 1 is ruling the Top 10 Most Watched Web Series list of Netflix with maximum views. The fresh new list for the days from January 15-24 is here, and it is balanced with some old entries and a few new series on it. The teen drama My Life with the Walter Boys: Season 1 has been hanging in there for several weeks, and it looks like viewers are still not getting enough of it.

The winter has reached its prime, and people are enjoying the coziness indoors, snuggled inside their favorite blankets, and watching web series on one of the most popular streaming platforms, Netflix. They have released the list of Top 10 Most-Watched TV Shows from January 8-January 14.

The series, which deals heavily with the Multiverse, offers many alternate universe doppelgängers of well-known characters and just dropped its third season. Still, fans are already hoping for a Season 4.

It’s been an exciting week of excellent new movies and TV shows landing on Netflix UK. This past week has seen the arrival of the Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, and Denis Villeneuve’s adaptation of Frank Herbert’s Dune.

When Netflix released its first-ever Engagement Report — a revealing look into what (and how much) people are watching within the streamer’s film and TV catalog — live-action adult and young adult series like Ginny and Georgia, The Night Agent and Fubar were among those that topped nearly a billion hours watched.

But between January and June 2023, seasons of animated originals Sonic Prime, Gabby’s Dollhouse, Barbie Life in the Dreamhouse, My Dad the Bounty Hunter and The Creature Cases also ranked among the 500 most-viewed series (out of 18,000), as did acquisitions like Paw Patrol, CoComelon, Pj Masks and Peppa Pig.

And while much of the streamer’s most popular animated content came from its kids and family programming, the report reveals new and previously released seasons of adult animation and anime entries like Castlevania, Love, Death & Robots, Bee and Puppycat, Disenchantment, Big Mouth, and Skull Island were among the top 22 percent of watched titles.

As the year winds down, it’s time to look back at Netflix’s biggest hits, and today, we begin by looking into what kids’ TV shows picked up the most points in the Netflix top 10s over the past 12 months.

This list is compiled using FlixPatrol data collected from the daily top 10s on Netflix from over 80 countries around the globe. They assign points and values to each title that gets featured on any day. Their data isn’t perfect as their method doesn’t quite fully capture the complexity of viewership data, such as total watch time, repeat viewings, or demographic details of the audience. Also worth noting is that Netflix changed up its top 10 metrics midway through the year to favor views over pure viewing hours. That said, their data provides a pretty accurate snapshot of what performed best over a long period.

Netflix has released the full list of movies and television shows that will be available for streaming beginning on January 1, 2024.

Each month, Netflix adds a large library of new content to their streaming platform. Usually, there’s a good mix of Netflix original movies and shows, plus past and present TV shows from other networks and previously released movies, too. This month is no exception, with lots of originals coming, with some classics mixed in.

Of course, Netflix will also be removing titles, too. In January, they’ll be taking away 23 movies and TV shows!
