Masters of the Air is a war drama miniseries created by John Shiban and John Orloff. Based on the Donald Miller book of the same name, it serves as a spiritual successor to 2001’s Band of Brothers. The series stars Anthony Boyle as real-life professor and navigator Lt. Harry Crosby. During an interview, Boyle spoke about working on the World War II drama and revealed several insights about its making.

Dennis Quaid (Lawmen: Bass Reeves) is slipping into the world of a serial killer who used a smiley face as his calling card for Paramount+’s Happy Face. Emmy nominee Quaid will star as the Happy Face Killer in the streamer’s new drama, inspired by the killer’s daughter Melissa Moore’s autobiography, Shattered Silence, and her Happy Face podcast.

Emmy nominee Annaleigh Ashford (Welcome to Chippendales) was previously announced to play Melissa. Filming is expected to get underway this spring, with Paramount+ targeting a 2025 premiere for the eight-episode season.

A few weeks ago, Variety reported that Paramount’s Republic Pictures had acquired the distribution rights to the serial killer horror thriller Vindicta and were planning to release the film sometime in October. In an exclusive interview with uInterview founder, Erik Meers, actress Roma Downey revealed what it was like to work with actor Dennis Quaid in On a Wing and a Prayer, which Downey co-produced.

Downey, who is the president of LightWorkers Media, the Faith and Family division of MGM Worldwide Television Group, where her husband, Mark Burnett, was the former chairman, revealed that she is “committed to telling stories that are hopeful, stories that are inspiring, stories that uplift the spirit in some way.”

“So obviously that’s why the script was sent to me. Brian Eggerson had written a spec script; he had come across this amazing true story. He thought it would make a wonderful screenplay and he was right. When I read it, I honestly couldn’t believe what I was reading. I couldn’t put it down, it was such a page-turner.

Jesse Metcalfe, who played John in the soapy series Desperate Housewives, shares his idea for a series reboot. These days, when the question of a possible Desperate Housewives continuation does come up, it's often related to the idea of bringing Teri Hatcher, Marcia Cross, Felicity Huffman, and Eva Longoria back to television screens. However, the iconic ABC show had a sprawling cast of supporting and recurring players, including Metcalfe. In the role of gardener John Rowland, the actor shared a number of memorable scenes with Longoria's Gabrielle Solis.

There is a certain thrill that airplane films provide us with, and this feeling has been epitomized in recent times by “Top Gun: Maverick.” Aviation in films has achieved unimaginable heights, to the point where even the lingo of aviation has become quite familiar to us viewers. We do not need to look up the meaning of the words “Mayday” or “altimeter” every time we hear them. While “On a Wing and a Prayer,” based on a true story, deals with a layman trying to land a private jet, the film is about more than just aviation. Here’s how.

In Monroe, Doug White stops believing in God after his younger and very humorous brother Jeffrey passes away from a sudden heart attack. In Connecticut, there is flight instructor, Kari Sorenson, who lost his parents in a plane accident.

April on Prime Video is stacked with returning favorites, the launch of one of Amazon’s biggest shows ever and a bevy of great movies to watch. The fifth and final season of “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” launches on April 14, while Amazon will premiere the globe-trotting action-thriller series “Citadel” – starring Priyanka Chopra-Jonas and Richard Madden – on April 28. The show hails from “Avengers: Endgame” filmmaker Joe and Anthony Russo.

Noteworthy movies arriving on April 1 include the “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs” movies, “Fast Times at Ridgemont High,” “The Big Lebowski,” “Looper,” “Vanilla Sky” and “Top Gun.”

Prime Video is hoping to launch its own extended franchise universe in April with the premiere of international spy series “Citadel” from the minds of the Russo Brothers. The show stars Richard Madden, Priyanka Chopra, and Stanley Tucci, and is intended to be the first block of an interconnected story with different spinoffs in countries and regions around the world. The first version will begin streaming on April 28. In the show, the world is in the grips of Manticore, a criminal organization, and several former spies are recruited to restore order despite having their memories erased.

Prime Video’s unveiled the first official photo from On a Wing and a Prayer, an inspirational drama based on a true story. The new photo shows Dennis Quaid (Blue Miracle) at the controls of an airplane with Heather Graham (Love Guaranteed) as his co-pilot. Jesse Metcalfe also stars.
