Ahh, Splatoon... This game is one of the best I've played gameplay wise.
The movement options along with so many different weapons with each their different play styles make this game extremely fun and interesting, as it's not that frequent to get matched up with people that play the same weapons in the same way as other players, and the balance is actually pretty good!
The best weapons are not the best because they're OP but because they have basically no skill ceiling, but they have a pretty high skill floor.
The variety in game modes (9 game modes as of now, with frequent events that add modifiers to them) is a really good thing about this game, and something I'd definitely love to see in more game series.
The personalisation of your character is even better now than in the previous entry, because you can now change easily the bonuses you get on your clothes: you see a cool jacket but you need a specific ability that isn't on it? No worries, just ask to the dude near the multiplayer hub and he'll change that up easy so that you can wear your best drip!
You like games that are extremely dark? Try the singleplayer campaign!
While the game has some issues (too many linear maps, game still using peer to peer), the devs are working hard to make the least good parts of the game better.
Overall, a solid 9.5/10 from me!
