The plot is pretty straightforward and I'm not sure how it will hold. Hope they won't drag this series as I think a simple plot for a light hearted romcom should stay under 18 episodes. Kadir Dogulu as Firat is just perfect as he swings between his chef skills in French cuisine and kebab cuisine. He is a great actor. However the script has written Serra Ariturk as Naz to be a boring character lacking of passion, sometimes allowing herself to be manipulated by her devious boyfriend. Hopefully the script writer will let her character develop and show more headstrong, lively Naz. With quite a few romcoms being launched this summer, I find myself not enthusiastically waiting for the next episode. Sometimes I watch it only a few days after it is released. A decent romcom and glad Kadir Dogulu gives a good performance. I would have rated this 6.5 stars instead of 7 if it was possible in the rating system but hopefully the series can develop well.

It started out so good, but they made Naz so unlikable, I dont think they can salvage this show...
She's spoiled and cruel.. First time ever I'm not rooting for the lead actors to get together.

The reason for the low rating is the story line and not due to the acting. Actors are great but the lead female character is a really unlikable character. I don't want Firat to stay in love with Naz. She can not redeem herself (for me) after what she has done to Firat. It was really mean. When her dad said Firat is bad for her, I disagree as Naz is bad for Firat. Not sure it's worthwhile watching further. I don't feel anything between the characters despite the director trying to create "feeling" through the long stares. Firat has to work way too hard for Naz's love...it's toxic and he should get councelling to stop being so co-dependent to Naz's narcissism. The writers let the story tank. It had potential.

You will find both sweet and fun moments along with sour episodes that make you cringe.
Sweet: The lead, Firat, it quite likeable and fun. The female lead, Naz is quite beautiful and lovely. The best friend was a cool character, as well as Naz's father. He was warm and sincere. This is a classic, sometimes very cliche Rom Com, but that's my favorite genre so I appreciate the sweet moments.
Sour: After a few episodes, it became long and drawn out, and it seems that the writers were just trying anything in their recipe box to make up a cake. I was upset that the plot went quite awry in the middle. Several characters were downright ridiculous and cartoonish. The side characters Gul and Atil were especially juvenile, but after a while, they seemed endearing and added comic relief. The villain must have done his job quite well, because he was very annoying. I do appreciate that the writers tried to draw more from his character, especially towards the end, to show a bit of depth.
Askin Tarafi was overall a fun show to watch, and if you are a fan of Rom Coms, you will enjoy the feast.

Truly a wonderful film.
A film full of life and color.
A perfect acting by actor Kadir Dogulu. It is nice that he is back on the TV screen.
