Fuchs corneal disease is a genetic disorder which is caused by deteriorating corneal cells and leads to fluid builds up in the clear layer (cornea) on the front of the eye, causing the cornea to swell and thicken. This can lead to glare, blurred or cloudy vision, and eye discomfort.

Goofs
Brass says his Fuchs Corneal Disease has no cure. While technically correct, it is treatable via corneal transplant. There might be reasons why Brass can't get a front transplant, but these aren't mentioned. The audience is left to incorrectly infer that Brass' eyesight is irretrievable.
