Almost bought it

Watched the first episode on Amazon Prime before I read the disclaimer at the end which said the cases are entirely fictional. What a waste of time. Glad I saw that otherwise I probably would have carried on watching.

I know all Judge TV shows aren't real courts, but the cases are real and because the "judge" is acting as an arbiter and litigants sign a document to agree with whatever the judge rules, the outcome is legally binding.

But this is entirely fictional.

Too boring when once you know the disputes don't have any truth to them.

Disclaimer at the end of each episode says: 'Judge Mom is not a court of Law. The judge is not a legal expert. But draws upon personal judgement to resolve disputes.

The litigants and witnesses are actors, and all cases and evidence presented are fictional and are not based on any actual person or event.'

What?

The lack of creativity is shown when coming up with a braindead 'show' like this. Do not know who was ever i charge of making the decision this was a good idea but they must have a lot of money when they can afford to waste it on something like this.

Making a look alike courtroom to bring up subjects that should reflect the real world of problems is just a bad idea.

Better off watching CourtTV or Law and Crime to get the real thing and better entertainment than this. And certainly way better drama.

Do NOT waste your time on this show unless you have run out of a life to live. It will kill you.

Why??

I decided to check out an episode of this show. This show is a waste of time! I'm shocked that it received at least three stars from some people. What was the purpose of creating a staged court show with horrible actors? The money could have been spent on creating a sitcom about a court show and then it would have been worth watching. I'll watch the show through a streaming app, so I'm not even sure if these episodes are old or if the show still comes on. Since it's been around for a couple of years I guess people enjoy it. I'll stick with the regular court shows with actual litigants and a real judge.
