Ryan Reynolds always loves a good bit. The Deadpoolactor has long been known to do things for the LOLs — he is, after all, a man of the internet (or at least his social media manager is). Which is probably exactly why he decided to post all three of the Deadpool movies online in honor of the 10-year anniversary of his iteration of Wade Wilson coming to life. Well, sort of.
In a post on the website formerly known as Twitter (and now known as X), Reynolds posted a black-and-white, 32-second clip with the caption: "A decade really zips by. Deadpool started filming 10 years ago. ⚔️" And held within those 32 seconds — from title credits to close — are the movies Deadpool, Deadpool 2, and the most recently released, Deadpool & Wolverine. So, I guess in theory, if you went really, really, really slow, you could technically watch all three movies, sans sound, for free!

Ryan Reynolds is one of Hollywood's most popular leading men, with a series of successful blockbusters. However, nothing comes close to his passion project, the Deadpool franchise.
While Reynolds is caught in the It Ends With Us legal battle, where he is named a defendant in Justin Baldoni's $400 million lawsuit, the actor is not neglecting his ties to Deadpool. In a new post on X, Ryan Reynolds celebrated a major milestone with the character: one decade together.

In a splashy 20-minute segment at Disney’s annual shareholder meeting, CEO Bob Iger touted a handful of high-priority film and TV projects as the company looks to maintain its recent studio momentum.
Avatar: Fire and Ash, Lilo & Stitch and Alien: Earth were three titles given a spotlight, with new footage of the latter two introduced.
Iger said he has seen “an early cut” of the upcoming third installment of director James Cameron’s billion-dollar Avatar franchise. “I can tell you that it is absolutely breathtaking,” he said.
While no new images or footage was revealed from the three-hour-plus Cameron epic, which will bow December 19, a “special extended look” at Lilo & Stitch was shown during the livestreamed meeting. It was a...

Forty years ago, author William Gibson brought the world a cyberpunk novel called Neuromancer – and an adaptation of that story has been trudging its way through development hell pretty much ever since. Versions of a feature film adaptation have passed through the hands of directors like music video maker Chris Cunningham, A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors and The Blob‘s Chuck Russell, Torque‘s Joseph Kahn, Cube‘s Vincenzo Natali, and Deadpool‘s Tim Miller. An adaptation of Neuromancer is currently moving forward as a 10-episode series that’s set up at Apple TV+, and Deadline reports that Dane DeHaan of Oppenheimer and The Amazing Spider-Man 2 has signed on to play a character named Peter Riviera.
In the source material, Peter Riviera was “a thief and sadist who can project holographic images.” Which sounds like a great character for Dane DeHaan to play.

Some more photos from the set of Christopher Nolan's adaptation of The Odyssey have been doing the rounds online, and this time we have another look at Matt Damon's Odysseus as he prepares to enter the cave of the Cyclops known as Polyphemus.
Filming for these scenes is taking place at Nestor’s Cave in Greece, and we have heard that a 6x6m mechanical animatronic puppet of Polyphemus was created for the sequence.
Unfortunately, we don't have any shots of the monster himself, but we'll be sure to update if any find their way online.
In the original story, Polyphemus was the son of Poseidon, god of the sea, and the nymph Thoösa. Odysseus and his men were captured by the cyclops when they were cast ashore on the coast of Sicily. Polyphemus devoured several of Odysseus' companions before the legendary hero managed to blind the giant...

When it comes to video game adaptations, any superhero who isn't Spider-Man or Batman usually gets the short end of the stick. Granted, there have been a few rare occasions when a hidden gem starring a different character gets released and takes the world by storm. However, it's perplexing how some of the world's most recognizable heroes have had next to no chances of stealing the spotlight in this beloved medium. Daredevil is, unfortunately, a member of that group.
The Man Without Fear is currently making headlines thanks to his long-awaited Marvel Cinematic Universe comeback in Daredevil: Born Again. But why should his tale stop there? For a long time, fans speculated that a hidden easter egg in Marvel's Spider-Man 2 indicated that Matt Murdock would appear in a Dlc or even his own title. In time, it was revealed that this mysterious secret was just a reference to Insomniac's next game: Marvel's Wolverine.

When looking at Ryan Reynolds' 2024, one particular project stands out: Deadpool & Wolverine. While the third installment in his Merc with a Mouth franchise was a tremendous success, he had a project that didn't reach the same heights — If.
The children's movie If, which stands for Imaginary Friends, was actor and director John Krasinski's first brush with the genre after his two successful horror films from the A Quiet Place franchise. The movie had Reynolds as the leading actor alongside Cailey Fleming and a series of other A-list actors. While the movie didn't live up to its potential, If is finally getting the success it deserves on Netflix, Tudum reports.
The movie debuted on Netflix recently in different countries and entered the Top 10 charts globally in sixth place behind titles like The Electric State, Plankton: The Movie, Kraven the Hunter, Trap, and Despicable Me 4. In its first week, If amassed...

After clashing on the set of It Ends With Us, actor Blake Lively's feud with co-star and director Justin Baldoni has led to multiple lawsuits being filed. Those feature almost endless charges and counter-charges but boil down to Lively accusing Baldoni of harassment and retaliation, with Baldoni countering by saying the Green Lantern star has defamed him.
Ryan Reynolds, Lively's husband, has also been pulled into the lawsuit...as has Deadpool & Wolverine.
Baldoni and his lawyer argue that Nicepool was created by Reynolds to mock and bully him. "Reynolds portrayed Nicepool as a vicious caricature of a 'woke' feminist before concluding the character’s arc with his violent shooting death at the hands of 'Ladypool,' a character voiced by Blake Lively," the suit states.
It also claimed that Nicepool was "intended to be a transparent and mocking portrayal of Reynolds’ warped perception of Baldoni."

The fourth episode of Daredevil: Born Again has been released, and it is safe to say that it is one of the strongest episodes thus far. After the untimely death of the White Tiger at the hands of corrupt police officers, Matt seeks the help of an old friend. The friend is none other than Jon Bernthal’s Frank Castle, and the fandom erupted with joy to see these two crime fighters exchange dialogue once more. However, this reunion was at risk before the creative overhaul, and Bernthal has a few words to say about that version.

2008-2012 was a great yet frustrating era to be a fan of Marvel cartoons. That brief period of time saw the premiere of some of the very best television that's ever adapted Marvel Comics: "The Spectacular Spider-Man," "Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes," and "Wolverine and the X-Men." I both blame and cherish these shows for making me a true Marvel Comics fan.
Yet, all these truly marvelous shows concluded prematurely for infuriating bureaucratic reasons. "Spectacular Spider-Man" ended when Sony ceded some Spider-Man television rights back to Marvel. Meanwhile, "Earth's Mightiest Heroes" was canned to make way for the far inferior (and Marvel Cinematic Universe-synergistic) "Avengers Assemble." Lastly, "Wolverine and the X-Men" never made it to season 2 because the show's financing fell apart.
Series writer-producer Joshua Fine confirmed as much in a 2011 interview. Even worse, season 2 was already in production; it had a season outline,...

Ryan Reynolds speaks out about the ongoing Justin Baldoni lawsuit. Last year, Baldoni directed It Ends With Us, a movie adaptation of the bestselling Colleen Hoover novel of the same name. For months,it was rumored that Baldoni and co-star Blake Lively were feuding on set. Neither actor addressed the issue head-on until, months later, Lively sued Baldoni for sexual harassment, among other complaints. In reaction, Baldoni sued multiple groups, including Lively.
Per Deadline, Reynolds and his team have now attempted to dismiss one of Baldoni's lawsuits, slamming the actor-director for his statements. The legal team claims that Baldoni's lawsuits are based on "hurt feelings" and "clickbait" lies. The team goes on to dissect the claim that Reynolds called Baldoni a "predator," and whether that can be considered defamation. The team notes "the Fac alleges no plausible facts that suggest Mr. Reynolds did not believe this comment to be true.

Box office success isn’t just about making money—it’s a measure of how much a movie connects with audiences. Every year, a few films achieve the coveted milestone of crossing the $1 billion mark, proving they have what it takes to dominate the industry. While not every hit film reaches this level, those that do often leave a lasting impact.
A film’s success can be measured in many ways, but let’s be real—box office numbers tell a big part of the story. If a movie rakes in massive cash, it means people are excited to watch it, and the studios are making back their big-budget investments.
While hitting $1 billion isn’t unheard of, it’s still a huge milestone. 2024 saw three major movies—Inside Out 2, Deadpool & Wolverine, and Moana 2—join the billion-dollar club. In the year 2025, several blockbuster releases are poised to follow suit.

We knew this day would come sooner or later—Ryan Reynolds seems to be officially done with the Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni drama. Let’s cut to the chase—Hollywood isn’t all sunshine and rainbows. Sure, it’s the land of luxury and limelight, but behind the flashing cameras and designer clothes, it’s not always the picture-perfect scene we imagine. Take Ryan Reynolds for example. The guy who makes cracking jokes look effortless and stars in rom-coms we can’t help but binge.
But even he has his moments where, let’s just say, reality hits harder than a poorly timed punchline.

So, Blake Lively’s handsome husband found himself in a situation where his co-star, Olivia Wilde, stripped down for an intimate scene. At one point, she even placed his hands on her chest—and what did Mr.

In a motion to dismiss Justin Baldoni’s and Wayfarer Studios’ lawsuit against him and wife Blake Lively over “mocking” him in “Deadpool vs. Wolverine,” Ryan Reynolds said that the “It Ends With Us” actor and director’s complaints amount only to “hurt feelings.”
A key passage in the dismissal, obtained by TheWrap and filed Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, obtained by TheWrap, says that Baldoni’s “thin-skinned outrage over a movie character, the satirical ‘woke’ Nicepool, does not even pretend to be tied to any actual legal claims.
“Instead, the motion states, “it falls into the [First Amended Complaint]’s general allegation of ‘hurt feelings,’ which in reality is nothing more than a desperate effort to advance the same curated ‘bully’ image that the Wayfarer Parties created and disseminated in the retaliation campaign they launched against Ms. Lively in August of 2024.”

R-rated movies aren’t just surviving in the shadow of their PG-13 counterparts; they’re thriving, raking in massive box office numbers and smashing records left and right. Take the last decade’s chart-toppers like Joker with a staggering $1.07 billion or Deadpool 2 at $785.9 million. Deadpool & Wolverine is already leading the charge this decade, earning a jaw-dropping $1.33 billion. Then there’s Oppenheimer, proving that brainy, historical dramas can pull in $976.9 million. Superheroes are like pizza toppings, some are spicy, some are cheesy, and some are just different combinations of the same ingredients. While Marvel fans boast about their underdog heroes with emotional baggage, DC fans know their heroes as the gods of the comic book world. But what if some of these gods were just… different flavors of Superman? That’s exactly what Avengers director Joe Russo seems to think.
DC’s heroes have been inspiring generations for decades. Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, and The Flash are icons in every sense of the word. They represent ideals, standing tall as symbols of justice, hope, and perseverance.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is a big interconnected machine where every single movie and TV series takes part in the same world and builds towards the same narrative. As such, even the smallest of changes in the upcoming slate of projects could have dire repercussions that would need a lot of workarounds. Unfortunately for Disney, we've seen more and more of these unfortunate changes in plans over the last few years.
Kang is no longer the main antagonist of the Multiverse Saga, big projects such as Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness were released much later than originally anticipated, and no shortage of films have been reportedly scrapped at Marvel. But the worst part? A highly-anticipated movie that was announced almost six years ago could have been delayed until after the events of Avengers: Secret Wars. There goes our hope of seeing a beloved Marvel icon join Earth's Mightiest Heroes in their upcoming crossover.

Fortnite features a ton of cosmetics and other in-game items which can be purchased directly using a virtual currency known as V-Bucks. This particular currency can be purchased against real world money, and loosely falls under the generic microtransactions banner.
These in-game items can be purchased using the ‘Item Shop’ section of Fortnite, which possesses a daily reset – meaning that the inventory on offer changes daily. With the exception of event-specific bundles, here is all you need to know about Fortnite’s Item Shop schedule.

Warning! Potential spoilers ahead for Deadpool & Wolverine #3
Deadpool has been causing problems for Wolverine in their new team-up series, and now, the Merc With a Mouth's new codename might be the ultimate betrayal. To be fair to Deadpool, he hasn’t been in control of his actions in this storyline, as he’s been mind-controlled by Stryfe via a new substance known as Legacy 2.0 – but his new role as Marvel's "X-Cutioner" could still have major repercussions.
Marvel's preview for Deadpool & Wolverine #3 – written by Benjamin Percy, with art by Joshua Cassara – opens with Logan keeping Wade prisoner in a bar. Deadpool briefly broke free of Stryfe’s control at the end of the last issue, leading Wolverine to tie him to a chair and demand some answers.
Wolverine decides to take advantage of Deadpool’s healing factor, using violence to try and draw his mind-controlled state back out. Wolverine’s plan works,...

Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni’s ongoing legal drama surrounding It Ends With Us has stirred up quite the storm, and it’s impossible to ignore the ripple effects on everyone involved. Adding an extra layer of intrigue, Blake’s husband, Ryan Reynolds, found himself caught up in the whirlwind.
What started as a dispute between Lively and Baldoni escalated when Reynolds became part of the conversation through Baldoni’s countersuit against The New York Times.

As the dust settles, it’s clear that all parties face personal and professional challenges. However, when it comes to comparing the financial standing of Baldoni and Reynolds, the gap is so massive it barely feels fair.

It has been nearly a year since X-Men '97 debuted on Disney+ to critical acclaim, and now fans have a better idea of when Season 2 will debut, as well as Season 3. Even though Marvel fans have enjoyed recent Disney+ entries like Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man and Daredevil: Born Again, it feels like everyone is waiting for the return of X-Men '97. Season 1 brought the iconic Marvel franchise back in a big way for what turned out to be a year of X-Men, as it was followed up by a new line of X-Men comics and the feature film, Deadpool & Wolverine. Season 2 of X-Men '97 is on the horizon, but fans are looking forward far beyond that.
Speaking at the Indiana Comic Convention at a panel moderated by Collider's Maggie Lovitt, Rogue voice actress Lenore Zann revealed that she is about to begin work on Season 3 of X-Men '97. "I'm...

Novocaine feels like a love letter to great action films. The new action-comedy is intense, as the main character is unable to feel pain and takes some brutal hits throughout the runtime. Some scenes are clear homages, like how Home Alone inspired a scene with booby traps or how the gimmick in Upgrade gave the directors inspiration for the fight scenes.
However, a classic Jason Statham thriller felt particularly similar to Novocaine, and it even seems like the team behind Novocaine tried to reference Statham's 2006 cult-classic, Crank. Jack Quaid's Novocaine character might not be a hitman like Jason Statham in Crank, but he certainly proves he has the skillset for it.
'Crank' and 'Novocaine' Share Quite a Few Similarities
Novocaine almost feels like someone tried to remake Crank two decades later. Jack Quaid's Novocaine character, Nathan Caine, might not be an assassin like Jason Statham's Crank character, Chev Chelios.

Captain America: Brave New World North America Box Office: Beats Chris Hemsworth Starrer Thor (Photo Credit – Instagram/Prime Video)
Captain America: Brave New World has been pushed to the 4th spot on Friday, with two new releases hogging up the top two spots and Mickey 17 at #3. Anthony Mackie’s film is hit hard by new movies, which are already having a tough time at the box office in North America. Despite it all, Captain America 4 has a reason to celebrate since it has surpassed the US haul of Chris Hemsworth-led Thor. Keep scrolling for more.
Thor was the debut MCU feature of Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Anthony Hopkins, and Tom Hiddleston, and they soon became fan favorites. It was received with positive reactions and turned out to be a box office success. It was directed by Kenneth Branagh and released in 2011 when Captain America: The First Avenger was also released.

Dan Berk and Robert Olson’s Novocaine is a crowd-pleasing romantic action-comedy starring Jack Quaid as a credit union assistant manager who can’t feel pain. He takes on a dangerous quest to save his crush (played by Amber Midthunder) when bank robbers take her hostage, sending Caine on a cross-city trek against ex-special forces villains. Caine's lack of pain is far from a lack of damage (this isn't Deadpool & Wolverine). As a consequence, Caine has to overcome a lifetime of being highly risk-adverse as an unnoticed garden-variety cut, for example, could prove fatal. It’s an excellent genre bender that puts Quaid’s Nathan Caine in body horror territory as his pain-free corporeal form takes unthinkable levels of damage. The film adeptly uses this admittedly gory set-up for comedy and action sequences alike, a delicate balance showcasing a strong command of genre territory.

The X-Men franchise has been around for decades, highlighting the team of mutants fighting against villains while dealing with a world that hates them. The X-Men movies, while flawed, did a great job at introducing the comic characters to the general public, and really set the precedent for what superhero movies could be, which ultimately led to the success of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
With Disney buying Fox and planning on bringing the X-Men over to the MCU, many fans have wondered how the team of mutants will be adapted. While some fans hope for a full reboot with a new cast, there are some characters from the Fox X-Men films that were so perfectly cast, it will be hard for the MCU to beat. With the massive success of Deadpool & Wolverine, it is clear that some Fox X-Men characters are still just as popular.

As far as Clint Eastwood's longtime fans are concerned, Inspector Harry Callahan (better known as "Dirty Harry") is dead. This isn't because the actor's most famous cop character died in his films, but because the series hasn't had a new entry since 1988. Not only did Eastwood himself officially declare that he retired Harry, but The Dead Pool was so bad it killed its franchise.
Officially speaking, the Dirty Harry films never got a proper conclusion. But on an unofficial basis, the series got the swan song fans and the character deserved as recently as 2005. However, none of the films' original cast and crew made this sequel. This is because Dirty Harry's finale is the unconnected comic book film Sin City, which did a better job at giving Harry his last hurrah than his actual final film did.

Ed Skrein didn't appear on "Game of Thrones" for long. The English actor popped up on the HBO series in 2013 during season 3, playing Daario Naharis, a sellsword leader and ally to Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke), across just three episodes. By the time season 4 rolled around, the "Game of Thrones" role had been recast, with Dutch actor Michiel Huisman playing Daario instead of Skrein. Huisman stuck with the series for the duration of the character's run, leaving some fans to speculate as to why Skrein was replaced so quickly.
It's not unusual for scheduling conflicts to cause recastings on major ensemble-driven shows, and early reports of Skrein's departure suggested that's what happened. The story was that he chose to prioritize "The Transporter Refueled," the 2015 reboot of Jason Statham's action franchise, but in later interviews, Skrein emphasized that it wasn't actually his decision to leave "Game of Thrones."

Ever had one of those moments where you think, “this is going to be amazing”, but then reality smacks you right in the face? That’s exactly what happened when Ryan Reynolds, Diddy, and David Beckham decided to put their heads together and create the ultimate Super Bowl cocktail.

Although fans absolutely loved the movie at first, their joy turned sour when Baldoni’s camp alleged that a sequence in it was created to mock him. Since the sequence included both Reynolds and Jackman, fans are wondering just how involved the latter might have been in the plan.
Especially since his appearance in the It Ends With Us promotional skit also raised eyebrows. As things stand, it might not be too long before trouble catches up to him over these allegations as well.

"Dammit, Hydra." One of the first major instances of Kevin Feige having to deal with a significant security snafu happened when the trailer for "Avengers: Age of Ultron" famously leaked online much too early and resulted in the official Marvel Twitter account tweeting out that hilarious two-word response. Over 10 years later, the studio once again had to do some damage control on an unexpected breach of their usually airtight firewalls. Recently, Marvel artist Mushk Rizvi posted (and quickly deleted) several pieces of concept art that quickly made the rounds on social media, purporting to showcase major spoilers from both "Avengers: Doomsday" and "Avengers: Secret Wars." Unlike last time, however, it would seem that Marvel's strategy is to deny that these have anything to do with the upcoming blockbusters at all.

Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey is now filming in Greece, and the Oppenheimer director has assembled one of the most impressive casts we've seen in quite a while for his upcoming adaptation of Homer's epic poem.
We know that Matt Damon will take on the lead role of Odysseus, but the characters the rest of the starry cast are playing have been kept under wraps... until now.
Though some key cast members are not listed (Jon Bernthal, for example), Greek media site OneMan.com is claiming to have shed some light on which mythological heroes and villains a good chunk of the other actors will portray.
Just in case some of these roles are supposed to be a surprise, here's your possible spoiler warning.

Avengers: Doomsday is set to begin shooting in the UK any day now and, according to public records acquired by Forbes, Disney has already spent double on pre-production - $8 million - compared to 2023's Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania.
Not only does this point to the House of Mouse putting its weight behind the Marvel Studios movie, but it's likely a sign that some huge sets are being built. In comparison, the Ant-Man threequel was shot almost entirely on The Volume, giving it something of a lifeless feel in the process.
The fact costs are already racking up on Avengers: Doomsday is bound to raise some eyebrows, particularly after the Russo Brothers reportedly spent as much as $320 million on their recent Netflix critical flop, The Electric State.
Of course, it's worth remembering that Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame had a combined budget of $1.3 billion, with both movies making that back and then some.

The amount of screen time does not always determine an actor’s checks in Hollywood. The modern-day top-earning stars serve as multimedia brands, which allows them to secure big payments because their fanbase enables studios and streaming platforms to use them as powerful marketing tools.
Changes in how actors receive compensation payments have become significant in the last few years. The beginning of streaming buyout deals raised the bar for sure. The profit-sharing arrangements between studios and actors provide dual payment options of opening fees together with backend profits, which works great for those who star in big box office performers.

Initial viewership stats on Daredevil: Born Again's premiere suggest the show has had a strong start for Disney+, but has tracked below last year's Agatha All Along and The Acolyte. This year has been a delightful one for fans of the classic Marvel Netflix TV shows, with Charlie Cox's Matt Murdock starring in a continuation of that earlier show. Marvel has been building up to this since December 2021, when Cox returned in Spider-Man: No Way Home and Vincent D'Onofrio appeared in Hawkeye.
According to Variety, Disney has confirmed Daredevil: Born Again's premiere drew 7.5 million views in its first five days on Disney+. Unlike movies, TV shows are longer commitments and are more personal to their audiences. There is something about watching the characters live out their lives directly at one’s own homes that makes their journeys all the more personal. Hence, many actors are aware that when a series gets picked up, they might be in it for the long haul.
While most shows try to keep their actors consistent, many have made the difficult decision to let some of them go due to various reasons. Be it their off-screen behavior, controversial statements, or just their characters not being integral to the plot anymore, here are eight actors who were fired from popular TV shows.

Deadpool is on the verge of a big change, not just because of his upcoming 350th comic issue, but also due to the introduction of a fresh new villain. While Deadpool #15 will celebrate this huge milestone, the new addition to Deadpool's rogues gallery comes with some loaded feelings. This shift comes shortly after the departure of the character's creator, signaling a new chapter for the Merc with a Mouth.
Written and illustrated by Cody Ziglar, Gerry Duggan, and Sanshiro Kasama, Deadpool #15 introduces Kurami, a deadly assassin who will join Deadpool’s extensive list of foes. Kurami, a tech-assisted, low-vision character, brings a fresh and unique challenge for Deadpool, both physically and mentally.
This new addition to the rogue gallery is exciting, yet the timing is bittersweet, as it comes right after Rob Liefeld’s departure from Marvel. Despite Liefeld’s exit, Deadpool’s journey continues, now under the guidance of...

After X-Men: The Last Stand and X-Men Origins: Wolverine underwhelmed fans, 20th Century Fox rebooted the franchise with 2011's X-Men: First Class.
The movie took us back to the 1960s to reveal the team's origins and explain how Professor X and Magneto met. In its closing moments, X-Men: First Class saw the Master of Magnetism's hatred for humanity get the best of him and he inadvertently sent a bullet into Charles Xavier's spine.
They then went their separate ways, with Professor X forming the X-Men and Magneto creating his Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. The franchise would have benefitted from remaining in that period, but instead jumped from decade to decade and further confused the timeline (all while the cast never really aged).
Magneto's motivations became increasingly muddled as time passed but Fassbander's Erik Lehnsherr remains a firm fan-favourite.
Talking to Josh Horowitz, the actor was asked if he saw Deadpool & Wolverine,...
