The concept of this movie is certainly not new, so with Evil Step Mom (Evil Soccer Mom) it had to measure up with the likes of The Step Father (1987)... and it fails laughably.
If you have a sense of humor like mine, you'll find every stupid twist in this movie make you smile. The father is particularly dumb.
Basically it's the kind of movie to watch if you have nothing better to do. I think once was enough for me.

- GoofsWhoever was in charge of the official documents in the movie apparently doesn't understand how checking accounts and driver licenses work:
1) The expiration date is always the same day and month of the person's birthday on driver licenses - not the day and month of issuance. On Beth Anne/Bethany's license, both the issue and exp date was June 11 - not June 17 as the exp date should've been since that was her DOB.
2) The check that Bethany set up Gabby with had two different check numbers: 1937 and 1000. The one at the bottom far right is always the same number as the one at the top right corner - they are never two different numbers. Also, the bank and routing numbers on the bottom of the check were obviously fake since they both started with five or six zeros. Someone was too lazy to look at an actual check to use it as an example to go by.
