The actor who played Taylor Keita in Netflix's The Cage, Melvin Boomer, has a wholesome real-world connection to Mma (mixed martial arts) that made his story even better. The Cage is, largely, not a wholesome show. Taylor's first foray into the world of professional Mma fighting was fraught with setbacks, betrayals, and depressing moments, and the ending of The Cage struck an unusually dark note. Luckily, Melvin Boomer has a much more uplifting real-world story to offset The Cage's often bleak narrative.

The cast of The Cage is filled with up-and-coming young French actors, like Melvin Boomer himself. It's also filled with long-time veterans of French cinema, and The Cage also features several real Mma fighters, like Georges St-Pierre and Jon Jones. All of the actors in The Cage brought something unique to the screen, but Melvin Boomer brought his acting talents and a secret connection to Mma.

Monks series finale revealed the truth behind Trudys death and made her character much better in hindsight. When we are introduced to Adrian in Monks first episode, Trudy has been dead for a while. We later learn that Adrians wife was killed in a car explosion, yet he was never able to find out who did it. Several Monk episodes saw Adrian come close to the answer, only him for to learn that there were still pieces of the puzzle missing. After a while, it became clear that Monk was only going to solve Trudys case in the finale.

The final episode of Monk did not disappoint in that regard Trudys killer was revealed. However, Adrian did not exactly solve the case. Instead, he watched a tape that Trudy had given him shortly before her death where she talked about her past and her relationship with the now judge Ethan Rickover.

Entitled Better Man, the upcoming film tells story of the rambunctious rise of Williams. The artist voices himself, though is visually presented as a CGI monkey for the duration of the teaser trailer and, the entire film as well.

“I asked you if you were an animal, how would you see yourself? In your own words, you would refer to being dragged up on stage to perform like a monkey,” director Micheal Gracey said in a featurette, addressing Williams directly. “I immediately thought portraying you not as we see you, but how you see yourself… I am going to see you and relate to you in a way that is going to be more engaging than yet another musical biopic.”
