Assassin’s Creed Shadows has been out for less than a week, and players have already managed to finish the entire game, uncovering all of its little secrets. There is no doubt Shadows borrows a lot from modern RPGs, incorporating things such as multiple-choice dialogue trees and more.
This naturally begs the question, does Assassin’s Creed Shadows have multiple endings? After all, both Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and Valhalla have had them – but the recent Mirage didn’t, which is quite the conundrum.
Are there different endings in Assassin’s Creed Shadows? How many endings are there to Assassin’s Creed Shadows? | Image Credits: Ubisoft
The answer is yes, but it’s a bit complicated. Shadows takes a linear approach toward its storytelling, and the choices you make in most dialogues have little effect on your progression. The endings are also progressively placed, meaning that one ending leads to another.

The Die Hard actor and ex-wife Demi Moore's eldest child, who is now 36, took to her Instagram Stories for a Q&a with fans, where, according to Daily Mail, she addressed how her dad is doing, more than two years on from his frontotemporal dementia (Ftd) diagnosis.
The Hollywood star, widely known for his roles in action films, particularly his portrayal of John McClane in the Die Hard franchise, as well as memorable turns in movies of different genres, such as Pulp Fiction and The Fifth Element, announced he was stepping away from acting in 2022 after initially being diagnosed with aphasia. Amid a trailer highlighting the indie powerhouses behind Marvel’s forthcoming Thunderbolts*, star Florence Pugh — herself a born and bred indie darling of Midsommar fame — described the action flick as more akin to an “A24-feeling” picture.
Speaking to Empire in a recent interview, the actress — who will reprise her role as Natasha Romanoff’s sister, Yelena, the highly trained former assassin first introduced in Black Widow — said the film, about a group of misfits not really giving the Avengers a run for their money, has an entirely different style from typical MCU fare.
“It ended up becoming this quite badass indie, A24-feeling assassin movie with Marvel superheroes,” she noted.
Due in theaters May 2, the latest addition to the sprawling Disney-powered franchise is helmed by Jake Schreier, who shared an Emmy for Outstanding Limited Series or Anthology for directing six episodes of A24/Netflix’s hit Beef, the all-cylinders-firing...

Bruce Willis is arguably one of the best action stars ever to be featured on the big screen. Before he retired from acting in 2022, Willis demonstrated himself to be a diverse talent by taking roles in comedies, dramas, and even movies that bordered on musicals (Hudson Hawk), proving his talents over and over again.
Toward the end of his career, Willis made movies that critics chided and audiences scoffed at. Despite poor reviews and low scores on sites like Rotten Tomatoes, several of these movies are not as bad as they appear to be. Additionally, they should be viewed within the context they were made and with all the information.
Assassin is one of these movies. Here's what Assassin is about, how it was received, and, ultimately, why its harsh treatment was unwarranted.

Marvel’s next big hit, Thunderbolts*, is set to hit theaters on the first weekend of May 2025, kicking off the summer movie season. Unlike the Avengers, this team isn’t full of heavy hitters. Instead, it’s a group of misfits—assassins, anti-heroes, and villains—brought together by Valentina Allegra de Fontaine for a risky mission. Directed by Jake Schreier, the movie promises a unique feel, blending Marvel action with an indie edge.
Schreier, known for the indie hit Robot & Frank and Netflix’s Beef, was told by Marvel to “make it something different,” he said. The result? A film that stands apart from other MCU projects.
Florence Pugh, who returns as the Black Widow-trained assassin Yelena Belova, describes it simply: “It ended up becoming this quite badass indie, A24-feeling assassin movie with Marvel superheroes.”

The 97th annual Oscars paid tribute to the classic James Bond with a dance — led by “The Substance” star Margaret Qualley.
Qualley danced alongside a handful of male dancers in tuxes while she donned a red gown, but why was she on stage during the tribute?
While Qualley might be known for her performances in “The Substance” alongside Demi Moore, as well as “Maid,” “Kinds of Kindness,” “Once Upon a Time … in Hollywood” and “Poor Things,” she was a trained dance before pivoting into the world of acting.
Qualley, who is the daughter of Andie MacDowell and Paul J. Qualley, grew up dancing, and eventually studied dance at the North Carolina School of the Arts, where she trained as a ballet dancer. She also was an apprentice at the American Ballet Theatre while she attended the New York’s Professional Children’s School.

Although Assassin’s Creed III is one of the most divisive titles in the Ubisoft series, it excelled at narrative nuance. It should come as no surprise that the game’s opening sequences are set in the present, but it takes an interesting and rebellious turn once the narrative delves into the past via the Animus.

With Assassin’s Creed Shadows inching ever closer to its release date, Ubisoft will be hoping that its attempts to breathe new life into the franchise – and its own fortunes after a dismal showing in 2024 – are successful.
However, the studio’s decision to finally give fans of the Assassins’ adventures a chance to visit feudal Japan is a showcase of how modern gaming audiences are nearly impossible to please considering the backlash that it has received since its announcement of the highly anticipated title.

While there is a lot to love about Ubisoft’s approach to Assassin’s Creed Shadows, fans of past Assassin’s Creed titles seem to find new excuses to hate a title that they have been requesting for a long time.

Following the health diagnosis that led to his sudden retirement from acting, Bruce Willis is seldom seen in public these days. However, he ventured out to personally thank first responders amid the Los Angeles wildfires.
Emma Heming Willis, the Die Hard star's wife, shared a video on Instagram revealing video footage of the interaction. In the video, Willis can be seen shaking hands and greeting with police officers, though as the clip is set against music, it can't be heard what they're saying to one another. The caption of the Instagram post added that this has never been unusual for Willis to show his respects to first responders.

The road to Assassin’s Creed Shadows‘ release has been anything but smooth for Ubisoft. From its controversial main protagonist choices to its rigid gameplay showcase, the game has been a lightning rod for controversy. This even led to a delayed release to February 2025 and a change in the studio’s approach.

However, with its new release window and promised gameplay improvements, the extra time in development may be just what Shadows needed. In an interview, Simon Lemay-Comtois, the associate game director, offered a deeper dive into what makes the game’s two protagonists, Naoe and Yasuke, so different from one another.

Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed series is set to cross paths with Reverse: 1999, a mobile tactical RPG released back in October 2023. Announced for 2025, the collaboration brings content from Assassin’s Creed II and Assassin’s Creed Odyssey into the mobile RPG’s universe. While this union excites fans of both franchises, it also raises questions about Ubisoft’s current trajectory.

Austin Butler wasn’t feeling the need for speed. When he got the opportunity to join Top Gun: Maverick, he opted instead for a trip down Quentin Tarantino’s Hollywood Boulevard. “I don’t want to do that,” Butler said. Big gamble, right? But it paid off big time.

Warning! This article contains spoilers for The Day of the Jackal season 1.
The Day of the Jackal (2024) follows a highly skilled assassin who racks up quite the death toll over just 10 episodes, but he is not the only killer seen on screen. The series is an updated and contemporary adaptation of an earlier 1973 film, which was in turn based on a novel from a few years earlier by Frederick Forsyth. The series stars Eddie Redmayne as the titular Jackal, and Lashana Lynch as the determined MI6 agent Bianca Pullman, who is in hot pursuit.
While Jackal is clearly intended to a be a villain, with his role as an assassin being a clear sign of his morals, the series explores the complexity of everyone's motivations. From the very first episode, there are numerous deaths. These range from targets, to bystanders, and even people who stand in MI6's way.

In 2022, Bruce Willis retired from acting following a diagnosis of aphasia, which was then confirmed to be frontotemporal dementia the following year. That sobering development certainly cast his late-career choices in a different light. Willis' final movie was the overlooked 2023 sci-fi action thriller "Assassin," but for the most part he had become a rent-a-star for low budget B-movie schlock. Considering what we now know about his health, however, much of that could easily be explained as a man trying to make his money before it was too late. Such a state of affairs would make for a sad ending to a career that otherwise remains one of the most impressive in Hollywood history. But even with a slew of middling action thrillers populating his later filmography, nothing could really take away from Willis' standing as one of the best to ever do it.

“Bonhoeffer: Pastor. Spy. Assassin.” emerges as a dramatic biographical drama that follows Dietrich Bonhoeffer’s amazing life as a German Lutheran priest who dared to oppose the Nazi government during one of humanity’s darkest times. Set in pre-World War II Germany, the film examines how a very religious thinker evolved from a contemplative theologian to an active resistance fighter eager to confront Hitler’s totalitarian machinery.
The movie is more than just a historical recounting; it is a compelling reflection on moral courage, personal conviction, and the incredible decisions people make when confronted with systemic evil. The film provides a fascinating narrative that resonates far beyond its historical setting, depicting Bonhoeffer’s drastic journey from a wealthy intellectual to a potential assassin plotting against Hitler.
More than a simple biographical sketch, Bonhoeffer illuminates how ordinary people can transform into extraordinary resisters when confronted with profound moral challenges, making...

“Wicked” is pocketing lots of green, with the Universal release coming in on the upper side of projections to head toward the third-biggest domestic opening of the year. Now forecasting a $117 million sum for the weekend, that’d only be behind “Deadpool & Wolverine” ($211 million) and “Inside Out 2” ($151 million) among 2024 releases. And Paramount’s “Gladiator II” is no slouch either, landing in second place with a projected opening weekend of $60 million. Theaters should be aglow about the two debuts, after being starved of a superlative hit through the fall. The last film to open with nine-digits (or even above $60 million) was “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice,” nearly three months ago.
“Wicked” earned $46.7 million from 3,888 theaters across Friday and preview screenings, a good chunk of which were held earlier in the week than Thursday, which is the traditional kick-off for a new release. Although the big-screen adaptation of the beloved Broadway musical landed...

“The Sex Lives of College Girls” is back for Season 3, with some major switch ups to the core four.
While Leighton (Reneé Rapp), Whitney (Alyah Chanelle Scott), Bela (Amrit Kaur) and Kimberly (Pauline Chalamet) reunite for sophomore year, their reunion is short-lived as Rapp’s Leighton exits the series mid-season.
Meanwhile, the Max series welcomes two new cast members in Mia Rodgers and Gracie Lawrence, who play new Essex arrivals Taylor — an edgy international student — and Kacey — a transfer student who would rather spend time with her boyfriend than development friendships with Whitney, Bela and Kimberly.

To live a religious life, and take full responsibility for that as opposed to simply following instructions from a religious authority figure, is necessarily a complicated thing. It requires constant reflection, a living effort to interpret the world and morality in accordance with one’s creed, and that’s a difficult thing to reconcile with the much simpler notions of right and wrong ordinarily served up in the context of cinema. Todd Komarnicki’s Bonhoeffer: Pastor. Spy. Assassin. is a small film with big ambitions, and it arrives in cinemas atop a wave of controversy due not just to the grammatical horrors of its title but also to its uneasy relationship with the Zeitgeist.
The real life Dietrich Bonhoeffer was a prolific writer, so we know a good deal about his interior world, but rather less about his actions in Nazi Germany and the compromises that he may or may not have made in.

The fifth and sixth episodes of Peacock's new Stephen King-approved horror series Teacup finally started to fill in some gaps in the overarching narrative as it hurtles towards what promises to be a thrilling conclusion. With just two episodes left in the limited series' short season, the questions that have slowly been piling up since the gruesome ending to episode 2 finally got some answers in the form of a long flashback sequence centered around the mysterious man in the mask, McNab, and the young man who trapped James in the Navarros' basement, Travis.
The flashback provided some much-needed clarification about the origins of the two conflicting entities that jump from person to person on the Chenoweth Farm. Harbinger is the name given to the seemingly good entity that is inhabiting Arlo's young mind, while his more murderous counterpart is referred to as Assassin. At the end of Teacup...

Bruce Willis is one of the all-time great movie stars, a guy who could fill theater seats with a sarcastic one-liner and a charming but grumpy grin. Over the years he starred in all kinds of films, from zany dark comedies like "The Whole Nine Yards" to the Christmas action classic "Die Hard," but towards the end of his career, it seemed as if he was just putting out as much as he could without paying much attention to quality. It was a move that initially came under fire from fans before Willis's family announced his retirement in March of 2022 due to a diagnosis of aphasia, a condition that causes progressive cognitive decline. Though there were some questions as to whether Willis wanted to do these films to save up for retirement and help his family or whether he was being taken advantage of, otherwise the movies from this...

Haley Joel Osment said he was well aware of Bruce Willis' celebrity before they co-starred on The Sixth Sense. France has quite a few grandes dames of cinema, with Catherine Deneuve, Juliette Binoche and Isabelle Adjani all very much in the game. But none can hold much of a candle to Isabelle Huppert, who is firing on all cylinders as she enters her 70s, in her sixth decade of headline acting performances. Tightly wound and fiery, while simultaneously self-contained and tough as nails, Huppert’s acting persona has been instrumental to a string of masterpieces – and even if the film around her isn’t that great, she’s always magnificent to watch.

In the midst of several historical epics, J.R.R. Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings still remains a classic. The movie series brought to life by the genius Peter Jackson created a magical universe of its own and did complete justice to the British author’s source material. However, it seemed as if the franchise was constantly being stretched for other material gains.

Assassin's Creed: Shadows reimagines the iconic Leap of Faith with protagonist Yasuke's clumsy yet amusing execution. The game blends old and new gameplay styles with Yasuke's combat focus and Naoe's stealth approach. Fans can expect a stylized take on Japanese history when Assassin's Creed: Shadows releases on November 15.
Assassin's Creed: Shadows is making plenty of changes to the formula but one of the funniest is related to the iconic Leap of Faith. A staple of the franchise that dates back to the original Assassin's Creed, the Leap of Faith allows players to make a quick exit out of a bad situation by hurling themselves from a great height to land on something soft below. It's always been an improbable mechanic, one that looks fantastic but in practice would likely result in a severe injury, so it's nice to see Shadows playing around with the idea.

There are just over three months left for the release of Assassin’s Creed Shadows, and people are already speculating what they could do as the new assassins in the series. Fans of the franchise have been clamoring for a game to be based in Japan, and we finally have it.
Given the setting, there will be some changes to the Assassin’s Creed formula since the release of Origins. Along with the two protagonist set-ups, the game could also omit some features, and fans would be happy with the decision!

From the first game in the series to Mirage, combat has evolved greatly. Dual-wielding became an important feature in Valhalla, to emphasize the brutal combat system. But Assassin’s Creed Shadows may return to how combat was early on in the franchise.

Bruce Willis' 2010 action movie Red is highly celebrated and trending on Netflix, offering a blend of action, thriller, and comedy. Red boasts an incredibly talented cast including Morgan Freeman, Helen Mirren, and John Malkovich, earning it positive reviews and a 72% Rt score. Despite the success of Red, its sequel, Red 2, received more negative reviews and had lower box office performance, preventing a third installment.
Bruce Willis' popular 2010 action movie is one of his best action franchises after Die Hard. Willis remains one of the biggest stars in Hollywood history, having appeared in some of the most iconic movies ever made, such as Quentin Tarantino's Pulp Fiction, M. Willis has maintained his status as a staple of the modern action genre through his widely celebrated Die Hard franchise, which began with the celebrated 1988 original directed by John McTiernan.

7 Days to Die is a survival horror game that relies heavily on builds that aim to protect you from the dangers lurking around you in the environment, including zombies and parasites who constantly raid your hideout at night.
The game is similar to Minecraft in the sense that it will require you to extract resources from your surroundings and use them in the best possible way to build an impenetrable hideout, as well as build equipment and tools necessary for self-defense.

There were high hopes that the game would have a blast at the recently concluded Japan Expo, which was held in Paris from July 11 to 14. However, the game was an absolute flop at the event.

At the recently held Japan Expo, there were a few people who were seen at the Assassin’s Creed Shadows booth. This was a huge disappointment for Ubisoft, as this event was thought to be one of the most viable marketing points for the game.

MultiVersus offers four distinct character classes: Bruiser, Tank, Assassin, and Mage/Ranged, with each bringing unique gameplay approaches. Bruisers in MultiVersus are balanced front-liners with straightforward mechanics, making them great for beginners. Tank characters are slower heavy-hitters with high durability, serving as versatile picks for both soaking up damage and providing support.
MultiVersus, the new platform brawler from Player First Games and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, includes a variety of characters with four distinct classes that benefit a diverse range of play styles. From the moment MultiVersus was announced in November of 2021, the free-to-play fighting game initially had a generally positive reception, but the playerbase quickly dwindled during the beta period. That said, its unique take on character classes, along with other subtle gameplay features like character-specific perks, gives MultiVersus a chance to rebound.
MultiVersus has a pared-down list of just four character classes: Bruiser, Tank, Assassin, and Mage/Ranged.

“I had heard things about King James being gay, or, you know, sleeping with men, because gay is not a term that they would have used [at the time],” said D.C. Moore about the genesis of Starz’s lavish historical drama, Mary & George. However, the creator of the limited series never fully grasped the full scale of the king’s interactions until he was handed author Benjamin Woolley’s compelling book, The King’s Assassin. The tone so perfectly captured the mood of the early 16th century and how the eccentric king engaged in many a folly while also trying to maintain peace and his political status.
D.C. Moore’s version of this true story is a rapturous, slick, sharply executed historical drama for Starz with Julianne Moore (May December) at the helm. Moore stars as Mary Villiers, who, hoping to rise above her station, convinces her attractive son, George, to seduce...

Vince Flynn originally envisioned Eric Bana as Mitch Rapp, but Dylan O'Brien impressed in the role for American Assassin. Despite hopes for sequels, American Assassin didn't lead to a franchise, leaving the Mitch Rapp property dormant. A Mitch Rapp reboot is inevitable, but it's unlikely Bana would be considered for the role now.
American Assassin author Vince Flynn had someone very different in mind to play Mitch Rapp before Dylan O'Brien was cast. Rapp made his debut in Flynn's 1999 novel Transfer of Power, where the special operative was given the simple task of saving the President after terrorists take over the White House. Rapp feels like a cross between the three Jacks: Ryan, Reacher and Bauer. The character is a blunt instrument and within the world of the books, is often the last line of defense between civilians and terrorist attacks.
Tragically, author Vince Flynn would pass away in...
