Director Kyle Coffman met Creator/Actor Trystan Colburn when Coffman cast Colburn in his short film "Groomsday". The two hit it off right away and started developing "Guys Like You" a few months after wrapping production on "Groomsday". Colburn wrote the series in a few weeks.

honest

A profound honest series about a young man looking happiness and love. Fighting, in his manner, to accept himself. A beautiful acting , especially gived by Trystan Colburn who, in smart - touching way, explores each nuance of his character.

Derek is a guy who you meet often in near reality every day. Maybe he is yourself. And that gives to series a sort of poetic realism, because it becomes, in its three episodes, not a manifesto but a honest confession about struggle to conquest love. And peace of heart.
