Álvaro is a common man. He has a wife, Elisa, a daughter, Mar - ten years old and a brother, José, which employes him and gives him a fixed salary. One day Álvaro breaks every rule and starts an affair with Carmen, José's wife.
One the day Álvaro and Carmen decide to leave town but they have a severe accident. The all village finds out about their escape and they must leave without looking back.
Ten years later, his dying father calls for him and Álvaro returns. Now it's time to cure his wounds.
