Successful financial analyst Dmitry turns to a psychotherapist with his strange illness, he is haunted by the ghosts of people whose death he blames on himself. Dmitry communicates with them as if they were alive, but this makes it very difficult for him to establish his personal life and, most importantly, to get custody of his son.

Dmitry begins his own investigation, in which he is helped by the phantoms of Igor and Marina, and learns not the most pleasant truth about himself and his past.

Dmitry's brain is overloaded with communication with phantoms, his condition worsens. He turns to the police for help in resolving issues with the mafia Marat and his henchmen.

Dmitry finds himself in a pre-trial detention center, from which he manages to get out thanks to his former business partner Roman. In exchange for his release, Roman asks for a favor in return, which threatens Dmitry with even greater problems.

Investigator Irina, with the help of Dmitry, is trying to uncover a criminal conspiracy, but during an unsuccessful operation, Dima has new phantoms, among which is a goldfish floating in the air.

Dmitry finally loses touch with reality, his brain is overloaded with phantoms. Finally, he finds the key that should lead him to all the answers, but the story becomes even more confusing. Dima falls into a trap organized by bandits.

Through flashbacks, it becomes clear what really happened to Dmitry, where the phantoms came from, how he ended up in Mexico and what happened to his wife Marina.

Dmitry and Lyudmila are held hostage in an abandoned dacha. Marat is in a hurry to get rid of them, but the memories that suddenly arise help Dmitry get out and try to fix everything.
