Victor Strand's return in Fear The Walking Dead reveals his mysterious backstory during the seven-year time skip. Strand abandons his villain persona and tries to make amends for his past actions, but fails. He finds a community at the Emissary Suites hotel, falls in love, becomes a father figure, and becomes a leader within the settlement.
Victor Strand finally makes his Fear The Walking Dead return following an extended absence, and the former villain has evidently been busy during his time offscreen. As a Fear The Walking Dead veteran, the smarmy arrogance of Colman Domingo's Victor Strand has been virtually ever-present throughout AMC's zombie apocalypse spinoff. The stench of cheap cologne and lies dissipated after Fear The Walking Dead season 7's ending. Strand was one of the many characters seen boarding a raft out of Texas following the fall of his domain, the Tower, but throughout the...

In the penultimate episode of Fear The Walking Dead season 7, Charlie and Alicia share a poignant moment on the beach, reflecting on their journey and the significance of finally seeing a beach. Charlie's line, "I finally got to see a beach," calls back to a previous episode in season 4, where Alicia helped Charlie visualize what a beach looked like after her brother's death. The beach scene in season 7 brings closure to their unresolved storyline. While Alicia's fate doesn't seem certain, Charlie's fate remains unknown. Daniel believes she died from zombie radiation, but Madison suggests that there may be hope in Padre's files to reveal Charlie's true fate.
Fear The Walking Dead brought a resolution to a poignant Charlie and Alicia storyline. Following a surprisingly mild battle for the Tower and an even more surprising back-down from Victor Strand, Fear The Walking Dead season 7's penultimate episode culminated on a tranquil beach.

The following contains spoilers for Fear the Walking Dead Season 8, Episode 3, "Odessa," which premiered Sunday, May 28 on AMC.
After most of Season 7 moved at a snail's pace, Fear the Walking Dead's Season 8 quickly jumped into the action. The premiere explained the series' time jump and how Morgan had returned his daughter to Padre. "Blue Jay" showed how June had joined and later deserted Padre. However, the episode pulled her back into the fold with a horrifying scene that pushed The Walking Dead's franchise's limits.
"Odessa" continued that fast-moving pace and actually revealed Padre's shocking identity. Along the way, it made a point of referencing some of the series' older characters. Charlie and Luciana were mentioned in "Odessa" and appeared to be dead, though it's possible that they could be alive somewhere. More importantly, the episode mentioned Alicia on two separate occasions. That had fans wondering if there was still a...

Fear The Walking Dead began as a great addition to The Walking Dead Universe, opening with the outbreak and building on another group of survivors in the post-apocalyptic world. Despite the high hopes for this spin-off, the series failed to impress in later seasons, contributing to its cancelation in the currently airing eighth and final season.

Ftwd has had at least as many terrible episodes as great ones, with more of them receiving mixed reviews from both critics and audiences. Some of these bad episodes play on the theme of despair in the franchise while failing to give a satisfying arc for these sobering events. Other disappointing episodes of Fear were particularly boring, lacking enough substance to progress the main conflict.
"Follow Me" Season 7, Episode 9
Among the outlandish episodes in Twd universe, Ftwd had a few that were more confusing than anything else.

The following contains spoilers for Fear the Walking Dead Season 8, Episode 2, "Blue Jay," which premiered Sunday, May 21, on AMC.
Fear the Walking Dead has had its ups and downs for eight seasons. From plot armor to unrealistic and bloated dialogue, the series has trouble fixing the issues that are making the ship sink. One way Fear the Walking Dead did keep afloat, though, was instituting an episodic anthology format in Season 6.
After a replacement of showrunners in Season 4, the show has drastically gone downhill. There were many creative changes (mainly to do with swapping out beloved characters for off-putting ones) that critics and fans negatively responded to. Season 5 didn't create sudden improvements by mixing the horror zombie genre with a spaghetti Western. Thus, it came as a surprise that when Season 6 decided to change it up with an anthology series, with each episode focusing on a limited number of characters,...

It provided new opportunities, such as directing and it has bonded me to such incredible fans that have supported me along the way.” The star made her directorial debut with the Season 7 episode, “Ofelia.” Debnam-Carey was with the show from the beginning,...

It wouldn’t be an episode of Fear the Walking Dead at this point if we didn’t lose another character, now would it? But even by this show’s standards, the circumstances surrounding Sunday’s apparent swan song were… challenging.
Throughout “Amina,” Alicia hung with the mysterious little girl who she believed had helped her earlier in the season. The kid wanted to save her friend from Strand’s burning Tower and the radioactive walkers. And that pal turned out to be… ? Victor, of course. And the child? Alicia’s hallucinations of a younger version of herself.

18 works in progress by some of the Nordic region’s biggest names – Bille August, Björn Runge, the multi-prized Jp Valkeapää and Malou Reymann will be showcased at the hybrid Nordic Film Market (Feb. 3-6), along with some Sundance and Rotterdam competition entries.
The Nfm runs parallel to the final stretches of the Göteborg Film Festival (Jan.28-Feb.6).
So far, over 450 international delegates have signed up for the major Nordic film confab. Only 250 will be able to attend in-person, due to Covid restrictions in Sweden.
“We’ve received a huge interest from professionals to attend in-person, following the decision of Sundance, Rotterdam and Berlin’s European Film Market to go online. It’s been very difficult to say ‘no’ to people, but our priority is to guarantee a safe event,” said Göteborg head of industry Cia Edström who underlines the various safety measures to be implemented at the Nfm, from vaccination checks,...
