- Quotes
Jillian Russell: Hey... maybe it was that cat who was the murderer! Let me ask him: "Meow meow meow, meow meow meow meow?"
Talking Cat: [voice of Patrick Stewart] We don't all talk like that. I happen to be a professor.
Derek Wilcox: Our apologies, sir.
Talking Cat: I should imagine so. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have papers to correct.
- Alternate versionsIn the DVD cut, Meg is removed when everybody checked on Muriel's dead body, and Quagmire is removed when Lois and Diane leave the mansion, fixing those two goofs in the process.

For me, the quality of Family Guy went down a lot in Season 8, but they can still make really amazing episodes, this one being an example.
This was a great start to Season 9, and iirc the third one with James Woods in it. Peter gets invited by Woods to go to a special dinner in his honour, where it turns out that he has actually invited almost everyone in Quahog to make amends for what he has done to them in the past. Then, Quagmire's annoying guest Stephanie suddenly gets murdered, followed by James Woods.
This is a murder mystery episode, and not one where at the end one character says 'WOAH GUYS! THIS WAS ALL A GAME!', no, the characters that die here are gone from the rest of the series.
10/10
P. S. Do not expect the same level of quality from all other Season 9 episodes.
